The considerable contribution of Catholics to social reform and charitable works has been neglected in much of the scholarly literature about Progressive Era reform groups. Even the literature on …

This book focuses on Hans Landis, an early Anabaptist ordained minister and leader of Anabaptists in the area around Zurich , Switzerland. Doing Scholarship On The Web: 10 Years Of Triumphs And A Disappointment, Edward L. Ayers

In the fall of 1991, someone appointed me, a historian, to a committee that oversaw computing at my university.
