Guinevere's Kidneys, Or The Lancelot–Grail Cycle And The Rise Of Realism, Norris J. Lacy
Guinevere's Kidneys, Or The Lancelot–Grail Cycle And The Rise Of Realism, Norris J. Lacy
Quidditas
One of the most remarkable monuments of medieval literature in any language is the thirteenth-century French Lancelot–Grail Cycle (also called the Prose Lancelot, the Vulgate Cycle of Arthurian Romance, or the Pseudo-Map Cycle—the last because the texts identify the author as Walter Map, who complicated matters, however, by dying well before the cycle was written). Before turning to the subject indicated in my title, I'll situate the cycle and offer a few details about its phenomenal importance.

Harlem Of The West: The Douglas Hotel & Creole Palace Nite Club, Micheal L. Austin
Theses
The purpose of the Master's thesis is to display the ability to do in depth research and present that information in a manner in which it will be of service. This project has been designed to preserve the memory of the Douglas Hotel and Creole Palace Night Club, the most remarkable hotel and night club ever to grace the city of San Diego. Located south of Broadway, the hotel and night club provided the only place of quality lodging and entertainment for Black visitors to the city of San Diego during a period of intense segregation in the United States. …

Ebenezer Don Carlos Bassett: A Biographical Sketch Of America's First African-American Diplomat, Wilma Dockett-Mcleod
Theses
History often times reflects the significance of persons only if they have had an impact on the many. These persons include states persons, presidents, Nobel Laureates, writers, artists and others who have left their mark on society. Yet, many persons of note are often times disregarded for reasons unknown. Ebenezer Don Carlos Bassett is one of the discarded people whose significance proved to be a first for people of African-American ancestry. Bassett was the first of his race to be appointed to a diplomatic post by the United States Government. He served as Minister Resident and Consul General to Haiti …

Essays On The Changing Images Of The Southwest, Richard V. Francaviglia, Jones L. Oakah, Marta Weigle, Sylvia Rodriguez, Karl Doerry
The Walter Prescott Webb Memorial Lectures - Archive
THE ESSAYS IN THIS VOLUME are an outcome of the Twenty-eighth Annual Walter Prescott Webb Memorial Lectures held at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). The theme of the 1993 lectures-Changing Images of the Southwest-has a broad appeal to scholars, students, and the interested public. By focusing on the Southwest, these essays also call attention to UTA's growing commitment to encourage historical scholarship in the region. These efforts have gained increased recognition through the creation in 1991 of the UTA Center for Greater Southwestern Studies and the History of Cartography. The center itself complements and works closely with the …

Publications and Research
Although historical revision is a valid practice, Holocaust revisionism is based on deliberate fabrications of the historical record and does not reinterpret a past event. The author believes that Holocaust revisionist materials should not be ignored by teachers, but should be used in classrooms as primary source material on anti-Semitism and intolerance.
