The Upward Bound program at the University of Maine is recruiting new students for this fall. The federally funded college preparatory program is seeking eligible high school students in the targeted schools of Deer Isle-Stonington, Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft), Katahdin (Stacyville), Penobscot Valley (Howland), Piscataquis Community (Guilford), Stearns (Millinocket) and Mattanawcook Academy (Lincoln).
