Abe Stine Interview For The Survivors Of The Holocaust Oral History Project, Abe Stine, Charles Berry

On December 9th, 1980, Dr. Charles Berry interview Abe Stine about his life before, during, and after World War II. In his interview Stine discusses growing up in Zabkowice, Poland, his family history, and more. During his interview Stine talks about being forced into an Arbeitslager called Niederkild, building the Autobahn, and eventually being transferred to Buchenwald. Towards the end of his interview he details the deplorable conditions he and others faced in the Buchenwald concentration camp, before being libreated in 1945 and his life after.

On January 28th, 1980, Dr. Allan Spetter interviewed Dr. Murray Weisman about his life before, during, and after World War II. In his interview Weisman discusses growing up in Lodz, Poland, his family history, and his religious background. Over the course of the interview Weisman talks about being a young boy sent to a concentration camp and the hardships he faced there. Towards the end of his interview Murray details leaving Europe for the United States, attending college, and his eventual arrival in Dayton.
