In this two part interview, Ann Hurst and Dr. Charles Berry interview Bob Feist about his life before, during, and after World War II. In this interview Feist details his early childhood in Germany and France, his father's career, his early education, and more. Feist also discusses being interned in the French camp, Camp du Richard, being set free, travelling to Marseilles, and eventually coming to the United States with his family. The second interview conducted discusses the perceptiveness of Feist's parents in trying to leave Germany and about his return trip to Bingen Germany in 1988.

On August 21st, 1984, Julie Orenstein interviewed Ben Muler about his life before, during, and after World War II. In his interview Muler discusses growing up in Vilna, Poland, his parent's occupations, and his family history. He also talks about leaving Vilna to escape the oncoming Germans, how his parents refused to come, and the conditions as he and his friends crossed into Russia. Towards the end of the interview Muller also talks about coming to the United States and his eventual arrival in Dayton.

In her interview Muler discussed her early life in Tomashant, Poland, her family history, and her religious background as a child. She also details her religious education and her exposure to multiple languages spoken at home. Towards the end of the interview Muler talks about the beginning of the War in 1939 and the impact that had on where she was in Poland at that time.

On August 15th, 1984, Julie Orenstein interviewed Lee Fishman about her life before, during, and after World War II. In her interview Fishman describes her early childhood in Poland, her parents careers and education, and their religious life there. She later recounts the Germans invading her hometown and being forced to live in a ghetto and how her family eventually escaped to hide in a nearby forest. Northway begins her interview by talking about meeting her husband and his family and how she came to Yellow Springs, Ohio. She also talks about her early memories of when Hitler came to power and how that affected her everyday life. Towards the end of the interview Northway discusses her feelings about the United States entering the war and how her early childhood experiences may have impacted raising her children.

In his interview Luberfeld discusses growing up in Warsaw, his parent's occupations, and his family history. Luberfeld also speaks at length about the prevailing attitudes about World War I by the Polish and Polish history in general. Later in this interview Luberfeld recounds being taken a prisoner of war by the German Army. In her interview Fiszlewicz details growing up in the Minsk region and moving every so often because her father was a pharmacist helping to open new pharmacies. She later recounts how she traveled to Minsk for school only to be forced to flee in 1941 when the Russians and Germans began fighting. Fiszlewicz discusses her travels from her family home to Moscow, meeting her future husband, and her eventual arrival in the United States.

During his interview Stine talks about being forced into an Arbeitslager called Niederkild, building the Autobahn, and eventually being transferred to Buchenwald. Towards the end of his interview he details the deplorable conditions he and others faced in the Buchenwald concentration camp, before being libreated in 1945 and his life after.

Throughout the interview he discusses becoming a forced laborer, the brutality he witnessed, and the awful conditions that he endured. As the interview progresses Werner recounts how he intended to attend college in France but declined to enroll because he foresaw Jewish students being excluded from attending and completing college.
