Almost all correspondents were members of a local fraternal club known as the Senators which was composed of graduates of Bowling Green High School.

Also includes clippings related to the retirement of Dr. John D. Woods as editor of the "Glasgow Times." An original and two copies of 1862 Civil letters (Confederate) are also included.
