Unearthing St. Augustine's Colonial Heritage: An Interactive Digital Collection For The Nation's Oldest City, Thomas R. Caswell

This $265,000 grant was awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). The grant, led by project director Thomas Caswell, established a specialized computer digitization lab at the Government House in St. Augustine, Florida to build an online collection of hidden and fragile resources related to colonial St. Augustine. This two-year project created an interactive digital collection consisting of over 19,000 maps, drawings, photographs and documents available freely online.
