Spectrum was a publication released in the early 1950s by the undergraduate students at Rhode Island School of Design. This issue from May 1951 includes feedback from the first issue, budget restaurant recommendations, a poll of student social habits, campus news, an "After Hours" column with entertainment recommendations, alumni notes, and an interview of Professor Ernest Lichtblau, along with articles on the Bluebird Diner, a ballet "Black Haiti" put on by a RISD student group, and perceptions of artists.

The Designer was a student newspaper published in 1942. Three issues remain today. The first two issues are written by typewriter on loose sheaves of paper. This issue includes a poem discussing World War II, several editorials, and some brief news, all submitted by students.

The Broadsheet was a student publication which ran through the mid-1930s. Printed in the style of the broadsheet, the paper was a single sheet published weekly with brief descriptions of current news. The issue of March 1935, no. 4 had a brief article about the new orchestra which had rehearsals Tuesdays and Thursdays in Memorial Hall. Items of the Moment included campus events that were of interest to RISD students.

The 1914 yearbook for Rhode Island School of Design, this includes hand drawn illustrations, descriptions of each department within the school, lists of faculty and graduating students, descriptions of popular social events, photographs of some of the senior class, and advertisements. A brief essay by Mr. Rowe of the RISD Museum and a brief article by Mrs. Radeke about the RISD Museum were also included. Poems and sport news were also featured. This was published by the Athletic Association of RISD.

Also included was a calendar of events for the school year. Poems and short stories were also in this yearbook.
