The Attic is a Contemporary fiction novel set in the town of Bitter Springs, Arkansas. Death is the ultimate end to all stories, but death darkens the center of Jonathon Duke's story. Orphaned in 1987 at the age of twelve because of the death of his parents, Jon moves in with his grandparents in the small town of Bitter Springs, Arkansas.
