The issue of December 1931 included a short essay from Mrs. Danforth, RISD president about the Aims for the School and the RISD Museum. The Student Designer was a student-run monthly newspaper published between 1929 and 1932. The issue of May 1931 included a brief essay from Royal Bailey Farnum, educational director at RISD to RISD seniors. Stories, a poem, a photo of the Senior Class of 1931, ads for local businesses and school news was also included.
