Packaging Rebrand For Cal Poly Creamery, Lauren Mindolovich
Packaging Rebrand For Cal Poly Creamery, Lauren Mindolovich
Graphic Communication
My senior project is a packaging rebrand for Cal Poly Creamery. The project consists of redesigning the ice cream packaging and logo, and creating marketing collateral, such as stickers and posters, to increase brand awareness.
This project was a lot of fun because I got to apply all of my GrC skills into this project. In addition, this is the first time I’ve created, planned, and executed a project from start to finish. Throughout the quarter, I tracked my progress and made the appropriate changes to ensure that I complete the project within the 10-week deadline.
Potted Pals: A Coffee Table Book, Morgan E. Glazebrook
Potted Pals: A Coffee Table Book, Morgan E. Glazebrook
Graphic Communication
The purpose of this project for GrC 462 is to design and produce an image and information heavy coffee table book on the topic of houseplants. This book will not only include gorgeous photography sourced from the Internet and self shot by me, but all the information one could need to learn how to care for each plant presented in the book. Throughout the quarter, I documented my process and the steps I took in order to complete the entire project on time.
Khruangbin On Tour, Meghan Eileen Connolly
Khruangbin On Tour, Meghan Eileen Connolly
Graphic Communication
My senior project, Khruangbin On Tour, creates the opportunity to ideate and promote Khruangbin’s, a three-person band, tour through branding and merchandise. The goal is to create visuals, such as a poster or t-shirt design, to complement their songs and the band as a whole through the use of color palettes, typography, objects and illustrations. The music’s feeling and aesthetic should be reflected in the visual aspects as it represents the artist overall and speaks to the audience.
Wilde House Paper Brand Update, Claire Butler
Wilde House Paper Brand Update, Claire Butler
Graphic Communication
For this project, I will be working with the team at Wilde House Paper to expand current brand assets and create an updated guide and collection of brand collateral. The goal of my project is to help the team at Wilde House Paper have a straightforward structure for their content and have these updated and organized design pieces at their fingertips. I am creating a comprehensive brand guide, organizing and updating a drive of assets, and expanding our collection of social media and email templates as my deliverables.
Non-Fungible Tokens On The Blockchain, Talyssa Janae Cruz
Non-Fungible Tokens On The Blockchain, Talyssa Janae Cruz
Graphic Communication
The premise of this project is to see how rising artists would perform in this new method of sharing and selling art. With the skills learned in Graphic Communication, the deliverables would be a well-marketed artistic brand and cohesive art collection that will be launched on the Cardano blockchain. Whether the collection succeeds or not, it would be an excellent learning experience to see if the collection will sell. If it succeeds, the information and findings would be gathered to conclude if it is feasible for rising creators to put Non-fungible Tokens on the blockchain.
Artisan Tea Project Re-Brand, Alyssa J. Tong
Artisan Tea Project Re-Brand, Alyssa J. Tong
Graphic Communication
Artisan Tea Project, a local cold brew tea pop-up in San Luis Obispo, aims to communicate the brand’s quality, simplicity, and creativity. The company is in need of design collateral that can best market the nuances of their product to target audiences, especially through digital means. The end result of the project is a fully re-branded company with a cohesive brand image that supports the company’s products, mission, and vision.

Point Of Tea Sales: Ordering Algorithmically Suggested Tea, Tate Yeung
Graphic Communication
Teahouse customers have few opportunities to get suggestions about drinks and drink customizations. Point of Tea Sales (POTS) fills this opportunity by providing recommendations (algorithmic suggestions) based on customer’s preferences (manually provided by customer), customer’s reviews (of previous drink orders), and reviews of other customers with similar preferences. The scope of this senior project includes designing the user experience and user interface for the online ordering aspect of POTS.

The end goal is to have something that could potentially be coded into a fully working website in the near future.
The Literary Controversies Of Michelangelo's Sistine Ceiling, Victoria Duehring
The Literary Controversies Of Michelangelo's Sistine Ceiling, Victoria Duehring
The Forum: Journal of History
This literary review will focus on Michelangelo’s most significant work of color: the Sistine ceiling. Michelangelo’s work has spawned a plethora of literature, but this paper will focus on three main controversial topics: assistants (or lack thereof), the ignudi’s purpose, and restoration. I will also apply a psycho-historical approach to these controversies and identify potential avenues for future research.
