Anito: Avatars of the Pearl is a collection of digitally illustrated character designs that personify the natural tourist attractions and endemic wildlife species in the Philippines to capture the recognition and improve the interest of Filipino teenagers on the natural resources of the country. The study aims to know how much recognition and interest do the Filipino teenagers have on the natural resources in the Philippines while the artwork applies the innovative concept of anthropomorphic personification to reimagine the natural resources of the Philippines as characters known as diwatas and engkantos.

AbstractManagers of luxury brands lack strategies to deal with counterfeit products’ influence on their brands. The failure to maintain processes to avoid counterfeits in business can adversely impact business profitability and sustainability. Grounded in the resource-based view framework, the purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore strategies managers of luxury brands in Eswatini, Sub-Saharan Africa, use to avoid counterfeits in their brands. Participants were nine business leaders from nine luxury brand businesses in Eswatini, Sub-Saharan Africa, who implemented strategies to prevent counterfeits in their brands. The study deals with the impact of the expected population increase on some social services (education, health and housing) and the natural resources (water, energy and agricultural land) in Jordan during the period of 2002-2010 to explore the changes which may occur as a result of this increase. The study used the descriptive analysis in interpreting the data and producing the results using the SPSS Package in estimating the population projection and their demand from the social services and natural resources till 2010. Gendered Recreational Fisheries Management And North American Natural Resource Policy, Erin Burkett

This dissertation applies feminist theory to investigate women’s participation in wildlife-based recreation and how natural resource management organizations conduct stakeholder engagement in a North American context. Gendered social processes, including norms and expectations, as well as gendered cultures, can constrain women’s participation in recreation through social sanctions and disenfranchisement. Gender and leisure scholars have studied these dynamics in sport and leisure contexts, but how individuals negotiate these constraints is understudied in a wildlife-based recreation context. Social constructions of gender also contribute to imbalances of power within formal natural resource management organizations and influence how stakeholder engagement policies and programs are …
