The poetic texts addressing the stages of youth and old age constitute a significant portion of his poetry. Youth is characterized by an eagerness for life, the pursuit of ambitions, and the fulfillment of aspirations, while old age is marked by a withdrawal from pleasures, amusements, and indulgences, as well as the rejection of the elderly by young women. This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of design students at the College of Design and Applied Arts at Taif University of Saudi Arabia using an experimental art therapy program. The experimental user used pre- and post-tests on the creations of (30) students. A scale for students' perceptions of art therapy was administered before and after the study. There were statistically significant results and application trends across all scale axes (general knowledge, innovation and attitude, and perception of social benefits). Scoring Accuracy And Differential Rater Functioning Of Large Language Models (Llms) In Evaluating Short Student Essays Under Different Conditions: A Simulation Study, Majed Mahmoud Ajoudeh

This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy and differential rater functioning (DRF) of LLMs in scoring short essays, based on synthetically generated data of 270 essays with varying quality. The LLMs scored the essays under three prompting conditions: without a rubric, with a brief rubric, and with a detailed rubric. Human benchmark ratings were also generated in comparison with the automated scores. The results showed that using detailed rubric improved accuracy and consistency with human raters. Regression analysis further revealed differential rater functioning: the LLMs were more likely to award higher scores to longer essays, favored indirect writing styles, and …

Study aims to identify strategies for dealing with overuse of artificial intelligence applications among postgraduate students in Saudi universities: an analytical of its academic impacts and proposed solutions, adopted a descriptive-analytical approach by administering a questionnaire to a sample of (327) male, female postgraduate students from (Al-Jouf, Taibah, Najran, Shaqra) universities. The results showed that level of prevalence of the overuse of artificial intelligence applications among postgraduate students was moderate. To measure the research variables, the researcher used the Academic Quality of Life Scale developed by Okasha and Al-Zoghbi (2019) and the Self-Regulation Scale developed by Al-Tarabsheh and Al-Shuqran (2017). Impact Of The Use Of Chabot On The Development Of Digital Skills - Female Students At Hail University College Of Education, Wadha Shabib Ali Alotaibi

The present study aims to identify the impact of using Chatbot on the development of digital skills among female education students at Hail University. The study used the quasi-experimental approach. The sample consisted of (50) female students who were divided into two equivalent groups: control and experimental, and the research tool was the achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect, and an observation card to measure the performance aspect. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (a <= 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control group in the post-test application of both the achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of digital skills, and the observation card for the performance aspect of digital skills, all differences were in favor of the students in the experimental group. The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a <= 0.05) in the evaluation of the students of the College of Education at the University of Hail of the observation card for using the chatbot robot in developing the performance aspect of digital skills attributed to the variables: (academic level and training courses). The study recommended conducting research related to interactive chats.

The persistent and severe underrepresentation of Black women in K-12 educational leadership (just 1.4% of superintendencies) is a critical manifestation of Epistemic Injustice (Fricker, 2007) and the Architecture of Hostility. Dominant managerial paradigms in education structurally suppress the voices and devalue the expertise of Black women, leading to both testimonial injustice (credibility deficits) and hermeneutical injustice (misinterpretation of experience). This context forces them to pursue advancement within systems fundamentally structured to exclude them. This dissertation asks how women in Khayelitsha make safety in a place where danger has become ordinary and where the afterlives of colonialism and apartheid still determine who waits, who walks, and who arrives home. What began as a study of risk and protection grew into an inquiry about time, dignity, and responsibility. I call the framework that emerged an ecology of violence—a way of seeing how harm gathers across generations and infrastructures, and how care, exhaustion, and survival intertwine within it.

Throughout this thesis, I examine what it meant to be British during the 1941 Siege of Tobruk. This is important as it reveals previous assumptions about the Second World War’s British Army, including its religious practices and regional distinctions, were more diverse and influential than previously assumed. To do this, I analyze previously overlooked sources concerning religion, morality, and regional identities to demonstrate that Second World War Britishness was not monolithic.

This thesis evaluates the cultural interactions between the Germanic peoples and neighboring societies during the Roman Late Republican and Early Imperial Eras. Roman authors traditionally portrayed the Germani as isolated barbarians and through ethnocentric and propagandistic writings, misrepresenting the Germanic people on a large scale. By combining an analysis of historical sources, such as Roman histories and ethnographies, the examination of connection through polytheistic religious practice in Western Europe and in Rome, archaeological evidence of Germanic trade and craft, and the study of settlements common to Celtic and Germanic peoples, this research demonstrates that the Germani were actively participating in …

Through CWCC's established community participation programs, this collaboration provided both a rich platform for community engagement and an accessible entry point for an ECU Research Internship to collect and analyse in-depth data on the "homing" experiences of Chinese elderly immigrants in Australia.

This thesis explores how classic literature circulates within the virtual community known as BookTok. Rather than making any definitive claims, this study offers a preliminary look at how and why certain classics surface within a digital space. Using a mixed-methods approach that includes three Zeeschuimer data pulls paired with qualitative analysis of thirty-four unique top-performing videos. This thesis examines the recurring patterns regarding top performing content of classics. Early findings suggest that these posts tend to gain traction on BookTok due to recognition and relatability. This article examines the fermentative processes at the core of the agricultural food system of the Upper Rio Negro, northwestern Amazon, highlighting women’s technical and social agency in the production of fermented beverages such as caxiri. Based on ethnographic fieldwork conducted among Baniwa and Tukano families between 2018 and 2019, the study explores how fermentation constitutes not merely a biochemical transformation of matter but a sociotechnical language through which women express intention, alliance, and distinction. This thesis examines the Chronicler’s (the unknown author to whom biblical scholars have attributed the composition of: the Book of Chronicles, the Book of Ezra, and the Book of Nehemiah to) use of Genesis narratives—namely the Covenant of Works—in the formation of the social, political, and religious identity of post-exilic Israel. This study examines Kompas.com’s news construction of the bombing at the Makassar Cathedral Church on 28 March 2021 by integrating Entman’s Media Framing theory with Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis. Using all news reports published between 28 March and 5 April 2021, the study finds that Kompas frames the event through security-oriented diction, agent–action structures that foreground state authorities as the primary actors, and high-modality statements that minimize uncertainty during the early crisis phase. Intertextual references to previous terrorism cases accelerate the labeling of the perpetrators as part of the JAD network. At the level of discursive practice, reliance on official …
