The Algerian War of Independence was a struggle by the Algerians for autonomy from their long-time colonizer and ally of the United States, France. Mormon religion has been perceived as an outsider due to various beliefs that are followed within its church. The belief that truly separated Mormons from the rest of the world is their practice of polygamy. Many of these historians have studied the nuances that appear when comparing the German Democratic Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. Historians have debated on which of the Cold War era Germanys created the best response to the Nazi past during World War II. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, is one of the most important welfare programs the United States government offers. In fiscal year 2015, one in every seven Americans received SNAP assistance. Previously called food stamps as they were first introduced with the passing of the Food and Agriculture Act in 1977, this program has been helping individuals struggling with food insecurity for decades (Ziliak 2016). Benefits are no longer dispersed with physical stamps, restricting what households can and cannot buy. Now benefits are distributed via a debit card-type system. The Berlin Airlift, or die Berliner Luftbrücke, was one of the most dramatic events of the Cold War. While the Cold War lasted forty-five years, from 1947 to 1991, the Berlin Airlift took place at the very beginning, from 1948-1949. Dyslexia can benefit an actor, especially if the individual is aware of how the challenges and advantages of dyslexia impact their personal acting process. Dyslexia is widely understood to be a learning disability that affects an individual's reading and writing abilities. Many forms of theater rely on the written word, and an actor's success lies in their ability to interpret the text, leading one to question whether a dyslexic individual can find success as an actor. The primary aim of this project is to produce an authoritative critical edition of five works by Ina Boyle composed between 1913 and 1958, through the medium of digitally typeset scores, these include: Elegy (1913) for cello solo and orchestra, Psalm (1927) for cello solo and orchestra, the Virgilian Suite (1930–31), a ballet suite for dancers and orchestra, Lament for Bion (1944–45) for tenor solo and string quartet, and Three Ancient Irish Poems (1958) for soprano solo, viola and harp.

Exploring The Effects Of Interviewer Body Language Availability During A Videoconference Behavioral Health Interview, Efthymia Orkopoulou

This experiment sought to explore whether an interviewer’s body language availability would have any effects on participants’ interactional engagement levels, positivity-negativity of interaction, and their nonverbal synchrony. Six participants answered questions about their well-being during a Zoom interview. Participants were exposed to three Near and three Far video framing conditions alternating every 10 min. Results showed that body language availability did not have reliable effects on the examined nonverbal communication indices. Time, however, did have some significant and close-to-significant effects on certain variables. Treatment reversal graphs showed that body language availability may reliably impact some participants’ responding. However, the rarity …
