Animal Sentience

In their target article, Rowan et al (2022) make a welcome attempt to chart the development of Western progress over the past two hundred years toward formally recognizing that animals feel. They outline the heroic efforts of Compassion in World Farming to gain for animals the status of sentient beings rather than merely human property. A broader view exists, from human prehistory to the present day, in which animals have been (and still are) understood to be sentient by indigenous peoples as well as by some Eastern religions. Animal Sentience

Resistance to the idea that non-human animals are sentient resembles erstwhile resistance to the theory that the earth is not the centre of the universe, or that humans evolved from “apes”. All these notions are psychologically threatening. They can remind people of their own creatureliness and mortality and might make them feel guilty or uncertain about their way of life. An honest debate over animal sentience, welfare and rights should consider the human motivation to deprive animals of these things in the first place. I briefly review empirical evidence on the psychological function of denying animal minds.

The development of ectogenesis or artificial womb technology is currently ongoing and likely to be in use in the near future. This qualitative study analyzes the potential individual, social and spiritual implications of ectogenesis. It argues that while there may be therapeutic benefits to the artificial womb, it will ultimately result in dehumanization and alienation from the body. While much of the current conversation about this technology addresses the health implications to the fetus and neonate, this dissertation investigates the possible impact of artificial wombs on women. This research presents an evaluation of my compositional process with regard to synesthesia as a creative tool. Traditionally, the phenomenon of synesthesia has been discussed in perceptual terms, such as something that is seen visually elicits an additional experience in another sensory domain, such as sound. However, recent research has identified that there is an additional process involved in creating the secondary sensory experience, which is a semantic representation of concepts (ideasthesia). In March 2022, a community excavation was conducted at Ḥorbat Neged (West), located north of the city of Sederot (Permit No. Z-23/2022; map.ref. 161721–916/605024–162). The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Sederot Economic Development Company, was directed by S. Tal, with the assistance of Y. Alamor (administration), H. Etel, Y. Cohen, M. Hazan Ozri and S. Shaked (field instruction), E. Aladjem (drone photography and surveying), R. Dagan, O. Rasiuk (consultation), A. Azoulay (plans), students from Sederot (Grades 3–12), and participants from the Sederot Agricultural School.

สารนิพนธ์ชิ้นนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเพื่อการแปลภาษาเก่าที่พบในบทสนทนาจากวรรณกรรมเรื่อง ทวิภพ ให้เป็นภาษาเก่าในภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้วิธีศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลเพื่อหาวิธีระบุภาษาเก่าในตัวบทต้นฉบับ และศึกษาภาษาเก่าในภาษาปลายทางโดยการศึกษาภาษาเก่าจากวรรณกรรมของเจน ออสเตนและชาร์ลอต บรอนเต้ เพื่อเทียบเคียงภาษาแบบ time-matched archaization, hyper-archaization และ updated-archaization นอกจากนี้ยังวิเคราะห์วัจนลีลาและความสัมพันธ์ของตัวละครในเรื่อง ทวิภพ เพื่อที่จะสามารถเลือกวัจนลีลาในการแปลให้เหมาะสมกับความสัมพันธ์ของตัวละคร การศึกษาภาษาเก่าในภาษาอังกฤษจากวรรณกรรมที่เลือกเน้นศึกษาภาษาที่ใช้ในบทสนทนาเป็นหลักโดยการสุ่มบทสนทนาเพื่อระบุความโดดเด่นของภาษาในด้านของความเก่าของภาษาเพื่อนำมาปรับใช้ในการแปล ทฤษฎีและแนวทางการแปลที่นำมาใช้ในการวิจัยเพื่อการแปลนี้ประกอบไปด้วยทฤษฎี Dynamic Equivalence ของ Eugene A. Nida ทฤษฎี Skopos ของ Hans J. Vermeer และ Scene and Frame Semantics ของ Charles J. การวิจัยและสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยเป็นผู้พิการทางด้านการเคลื่อนไหวตั้งแต่กำเนิด จึงได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากความทรงจำในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันของผู้วิจัยที่แสนเจ็บปวด โดยได้รับผลกระทบจาก แรงกดดันในตัวเอง และจากสังคมรอบข้าง ทำให้มีความต้องการที่จะสะท้อนความเป็นจริงของสังคม สะท้อนถึงความเหลื่อมล้ำ สิทธิคนพิการ ผู้ด้อยโอกาส อันเนื่องมาจากปัญหาสังคม เช่น ความยากจน การขาดโอกาสทางการศึกษา การเข้าถึงระบบสาธารณูปโภคขั้นพื้นฐาน เป็นต้น จากผลกระทบดังกล่าว ทำให้ผู้พิการบางคนไม่ได้รับสิทธิเท่าเทียมเหมือนคนปกติ ถึงแม้ว่าผู้พิการจะมีความรู้ความสามารถแต่เข้าไม่ถึงโอกาสขั้นพื้นฐานก็ไม่สามารถที่จะได้ทำงานเหมือนคนปกติได้ โดยถ่ายทอดผลงานวิจัยผ่านการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะเซอร์เรียลลิสม์ (Surrealism) ที่มีรูปแบบการนำเสนอสาระหรือเรื่องราวในอดีต ที่มีผลต่อจิตใจของศิลปิน มักจะนำเสนอผลงานในด้านลบ เพื่อเป็นการสั่งสอนหรือเสียดสีสังคม เป็นเรื่องราวที่ถ่ายทอดผ่านการรับรู้ด้วยจิตใจหรือความคิดฝัน มีมิติด้านกาลเวลาจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน การศึกษาพบว่า ผลงานศิลปะที่ผู้วิจัยได้ถ่ายทอดออกมาในรูปแบบเซอร์เรียลลิสม์ (Surrealism) ทำให้ผู้วิจัยมีการพัฒนาด้านความสามารถที่ใช้เพียงปาก คอ และเท้า ในการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะเพิ่มมากขึ้น และส่งเสริมให้มีการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่ถ่ายทอดอารมณ์และความรู้สึกอันเจ็บปวดจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันเป็นอย่างดี สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความจริงของผู้พิการที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากจิตใจมาตลอดชีวิต สามารถเป็นกระบอกเสียงผ่านงานสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ เพื่อให้สังคมได้เห็นค่าของผู้พิการ จนสามารถปรับเปลี่ยนทัศนคติระหว่างคนปกติกับผู้พิการได้ไม่มากก็น้อย ให้ผู้พิการได้ยืนอยู่ในสังคมเดียวกันอย่างเท่าเทียม และเป็นการลดปัญหาความเหลื่อมล้ำทางสังคมได้อย่างยั่งยืน

This study investigates the reasons for the different frequencies of unaugmented and the augmented absolutes. It also presents in-depth analyses on their syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic aspects in the context of fiction. The data were collected from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the first two books of the bestselling Harry Potter series. The findings of the study reveal that syntax, semantics, and pragmatics play an interrelated role in determining the way the absolute clauses appear in fiction. This study investigated the method for analyzing personal colour using colour harmony between skin tone and sampled colours. Fifteen skin tone samples were selected from the Pantone SkinTone Guide to represent three types of skin undertone: warm, cool, and neutral. วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ผู้วิจัย ได้ศึกษาสาเหตุและผลกระทบของการเกิดภาวะการเรียนรู้ถดถอยและนำข้อมูลดังกล่าวมาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์ ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อค้นหารูปแบบและแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์จากภาวะการเรียนรู้ถดถอย โดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและการทดลองและวิจัยสร้างสรรค์ผลงานการแสดงทางด้านศิลปะ ที่มีการศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารทางวิชาการ การสัมภาษณ์ การสังเกตการณ์ การสัมมนา สื่อสารสนเทศ เกณฑ์การสร้างมาตรฐานในการยกย่องบุคคลต้นแบบทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์และประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผู้วิจัย มาเป็นแนวทางในการวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบการสร้างสรรค์ในครั้งนี้ แบ่งออกเป็น 8 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1) บทการแสดง ได้มาจากการศึกษาข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสาเหตุและผลกระทบของภาวะการเรียนรู้ถดถอย โดยแบ่งการแสดงออกเป็น 4 องก์ ได้แก่ องก์ที่ 1 บทนำ องก์ที่ 2 สาเหตุของภาวะการเรียนรู้ถดถอย องก์ที่ 3 ผลกระทบของภาวะการเรียนรู้ถดถอย และองก์ที่ 4 บทสรุป 2) ลีลานาฏยศิลป์ มีการใช้ลีลานาฏยศิลป์ตะวันตกในรูปแบบต่างๆ ได้แก่ นาฏยศิลป์รูปแบบบัลเลต์คลาสสิก นาฏยศิลป์รูปแบบแจ๊สสมัยใหม่ นาฏยศิลป์สมัยใหม่ นาฏยศิลป์ร่วมสมัย นาฏยศิลป์หลังสมัยใหม่ ที่ใช้การเคลื่อนไหวในชีวิตประจำวัน และการเคลื่อนไหวลีลาท่าทางแบบทำซ้ำ การด้นสดและการใช้ศิลปะการแสดง 3) คัดเลือกนักแสดง คัดเลือกจากทักษะความสามารถทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ตะวันตก การด้นสดและศิลปะการละคร ประสบการณ์ของผู้แสดง และมีคุณลักษณะของผู้แสดงอันพึงประสงค์ โดยไม่คำนึงถึงเรื่องเพศและรูปร่าง จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 7 คน 4) อุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดง ใช้แนวคิดการใช้สัญลักษณ์ในการสื่อความหมายทั้งทางตรงและทางอ้อม อีกทั้งการคำนึงถึงความเหมาะสมในการเลือกใช้อุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดง ได้แก่ เก้าอี้ สมุด ชั้นวางของ ขนม หมอน กระเป๋า 5) เสียงและดนตรีประกอบการแสดง ใช้เสียงระฆังโรงเรียน เสียงเข็มนาฬิกา เสียงข่าวที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหาทางด้านการเรียนรู้ถดถอย และปัญหาทางด้านการศึกษาที่เกี่ยวข้อง และเสียงดนตรีบรรเลง 6) เครื่องแต่งกาย ใช้แนวคิดการใช้สัญลักษณ์ในการออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกายตามบทบาทของตัวละคร โดยการเลือกใช้เครื่องแต่งกายในชีวิตประจำวันและเครื่องแบบนักเรียน 7) พื้นที่การแสดง ใช้พื้นที่ห้องสตูดิโอ ในการถ่ายทำการแสดง 8) แสง ใช้ทฤษฎีทางด้านศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ ในการออกแบบแสงที่สื่อถึงบรรยากาศและอารมณ์ของการแสดง นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยได้คำนึงถึงแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์ โดยคำนึงถึงแนวคิดสำคัญ 6 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) การคำนึงถึงแนวคิดภาวะการเรียนรู้ถดถอย 2) การคำนึงถึงแนวคิดการสะท้อนปัญหาสังคมไทย 3) การคำนึงถึงความคิดสร้างสรรค์ทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ …

งานวิจัยการออกแบบเรขศิลป์เพื่อสื่อสารอัตลักษณ์สำหรับนิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.) เพื่อหาแนวทางการออกแบบเรขศิลป์เพื่อการสื่อสารอัตลักษณ์สำหรับนิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรม 2.) เพื่อหาแนวทางการนำอัตลักษณ์รูปแบบกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์งานหัตถกรรมมาใช้ในงานออกแบบเรขศิลป์ และ 3.) เพื่อสร้างสรรค์ต้นแบบการออกแบบเรขศิลป์เพื่อการสื่อสารอัตลักษณ์นิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ขอบเขตพื้นที่ศึกษา นิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรมจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสม(Mixed Methods Research) ด้วยการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ร่วมกับการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) ร่วมกับการออกแบบทางศิลปกรรม โดยใช้วิธีการรวบรวมข้อมูลแบบการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกแบบกึ่งโครงสร้างผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านนิเวศวัฒนธรรมงานหัตถกรรมจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านภูมิปัญญางานหัตถกรรม ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการออกแบบเรขศิลป์และเรขศิลป์เคลื่อนไหว และการประเมินความพึงพอใจของต้นแบบผ่านแบบสอบถามออนไลน์จากกลุ่มเป้าหมายทางการออกแบบ ในด้านการออกแบบเรขศิลป์พบว่า การศึกษาองค์ความรู้และแนวทางการนำอัตลักษณ์ของงานหัตถกรรมทั้งในด้านอัตลักษณ์และกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานเพื่อสื่อสารผ่านงานออกแบบเรขศิลป์นั้นยังขาดรูปแบบมาตรฐานและหลักเกณฑ์ในการนำอัตลักษณ์งานหัตถกรรมมาใช้ ทำให้รูปแบบงานออกแบบเรขศิลป์สำหรับนิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรมมีรูปแบบที่คล้ายคลึงกัน มีการสื่อสารแบบตรงไปตรงมา และไม่สามารถดึงดูดความสนใจของนักท่องเที่ยวที่เข้ามาท่องเที่ยวได้ จึงนำมาสู่คำถามงานวิจัยคือแนวทางการออกแบบเรขศิลป์เพื่อการสื่อสารอัตลักษณ์สำหรับนิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรม จากอัตลักษณ์และรูปแบบการเคลื่อนไหวภายใต้กระบวนการการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานหัตถกรรมสำหรับนิเวศวัฒนธรรมด้านงานหัตถกรรมควรเป็นอย่างไร ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้พบว่าอัตลักษณ์งานหัตถกรรมแต่ละประเภทสามารถสื่อสารผ่านองค์ประกอบทางการออกแบบเรขศิลป์ และสามารถนำผลคำตอบมาประยุกต์ใช้ในงานออกแบบเรขศิลป์เพื่อสร้างสรรค์สื่อด้านการออกแบบสำหรับส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมได้ โดยหากนำอัตลักษณ์เด่นของแต่ละพื้นที่นิเวศวัฒนธรรมตามองค์ประกอบทางการพัฒนาพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์ (Creative Placemaking) คือ ทรัพยากรทางวัฒนธรรม ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และเรื่องราวของชุมชน จะทำให้การออกแบบเรขศิลป์เพื่อสื่อสารอัตลักษณ์งานหัตถกรรมสามารถสร้างความแตกต่างและนำเสนออัตลักษณ์ของพื้นที่นิเวศวัฒนธรรมเฉพาะได้ชัดเจนมากยิ่งขึ้น

การออกแบบเรขศิลป์ในสิ่งแวดล้อมพื้นที่สำนักงานร่วมแบ่งปันจาก แนวคิดไบโอฟิลเลีย สำหรับเจเนอเรชั่นวาย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาแนวคิดไบโอฟิลเลียและพฤติกรรมของเจเนอเรชั่นวาย พัฒนาสู่องค์ประกอบทางการออกแบบเรขศิลป์สำหรับพื้นที่สำนักงานร่วมแบ่งปัน ผู้วิจัยใช้การวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mix Methods Research) ระหว่างวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ มีการศึกษาแนวคิดไบโอฟิลเลีย ในเชิงการออกแบบเรียกว่า การออกแบบไบโอฟิลลิค เป็นการเอาธรรมชาติมาเป็นศูนย์กลางของการออกแบบ หลังจากนั้นผู้วิจัยได้ใช้เครื่องมือแบบสอบถามกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างเจเนอเรชั่นวาย จำนวน 411 ชุด และแบบสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มเจเนอเรชั่นวาย ที่เป็นสมาชิกของสำนักงานร่วมแบ่งปัน ในขอบเขตของโครงการจำนวน 10 คน เพื่อวิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมและความต้องการของกลุ่มตัวอย่างในพื้นที่สำนักงานร่วมแบ่งปันในแต่ละโซน สรุปได้ว่า 1) ส่วนต้อนรับ ต้องการกระตือรือร้น จากบรรยากาศน้ำตกมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 56.84 2) สำนักงานร่วมแบ่งปัน ต้องการให้เป็นพื้นที่กระตุ้นความคิดสร้างสรรค์ จากบรรยากาศชายหาดมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 62.77 3) สำนักงานส่วนตัว ต้องการความเป็นส่วนตัว จากบรรยากาศภูเขามากที่สุด ร้อยละ 70.75 4) ห้องประชุม ต้องการให้เป็นพื้นที่กระตุ้นความคิดสร้างสรรค์ จากบรรยากาศชายหาดมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 64.57 5) พื้นที่ทานอาหาร ต้องการการกระตุ้นความอยากอาหาร จากบรรยากาศชายหาดมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 68.52 6) คาเฟ่ ต้องการความผ่อนคลาย จากบรรยากาศชายหาดมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 70.12 7) ส่วนพักผ่อน ต้องการความผ่อนคลาย จากบรรยากาศชายหาดมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 65.21 8) ห้องสมุด ต้องการความสงบ จากบรรยากาศภูเขามากที่สุด ร้อยละ 72.90 9) ห้องปริ้นเตอร์และห้องโทรศัพท์ ต้องการบรรยากาศสะดวกสบายจากภูเขามากที่สุด ร้อยละ 76.59 สรุปผลการวิจัยด้าน การพัฒนาแนวคิดไบฟิลเลียสู่องค์ประกอบทางเรขศิลป์ สำหรับสำนักงานร่วมแบ่งปัน โดยองค์ประกอบทางเรขศิลป์ ดังนี้ 1) ความกระตือรือร้น ใช้เส้นประแนวเฉียง รูปทรงธรรมชาติ และ พื้นผิวขรุขระไม่สม่ำเสมอ 2) ความกระฉับกระเฉง ใช้เส้นนำสายตา จุดหลายขนาด และรูปร่างอิสระ 3) ความสะดวกสบาย ใช้เส้นคลื่นรูปร่างโค้งวงกว้าง และจุดค่อยๆกระจายตัว 4) …

การศึกษาเรื่องการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทางดุริยางคศิลป์: เพลงตับเรื่อง “วิถีชีวี นทีสยาม” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นมาของแหล่งน้ำที่ใช้ผลิตน้ำประปานครหลวงและมูลบทที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทางดุริยางคศิลป์: เพลงตับเรื่อง “วิถีชีวี นทีสยาม” ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการศึกษาข้อมูลเอกสารและสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แหล่งน้ำดิบที่การประปานครหลวงนำมาเป็นน้ำต้นทุนมาจากแม่น้ำ 2 สาย ได้แก่ แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาและแม่น้ำแม่กลอง โดยการลำเลียงน้ำเข้าสู่คลองประปาเพื่อทำการบำบัด และนำจ่ายให้กับประชาชนใน 3 จังหวัด ได้แก่ กรุงเทพมหานคร จังหวัดนนทบุรี และจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ วิธีการประพันธ์ ศึกษาองค์ความรู้จากการค้นคว้าเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิอีกทั้ง ศึกษาเพลงที่เกี่ยวข้องกับน้ำเพื่อดูกระบวนการในการสร้างสรรค์เพลง และออกแบบทำนองที่มีทั้งลักษณะของอาการและลักษณะทางกายภาพของสิ่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับน้ำทั้งหมด เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการประพันธ์เพลง แบ่งการประพันธ์ไว้ 2 ส่วน ส่วนแรก ประพันธ์บทกลอน มีทั้งสิ้น 3 บทกลอน โดยบทกลอนที่ 1 กล่าวถึงวัฏจักรของน้ำและการก่อกำเนิดชีวิต บทกลอนที่ 2 กล่าวถึงแหล่งน้ำที่นำมาผลิตน้ำประปานครหลวง และบทกลอนที่ 3 กล่าวถึงขั้นตอนในการผลิตน้ำประปา การลำเลียงน้ำเข้าสู่ครัวเรือน และความสุขที่คนไทยได้มีน้ำสะอาดใช้ ประพันธ์บทกลอนชนิดกลอนสุภาพ (กลอนแปด) ส่วนที่ 2 ประพันธ์ทำนองเพลง แบ่งเป็น 3 ช่วง 9 บทเพลง ได้แก่ ช่วงที่หนึ่ง สายน้ำแห่งชีวิต: ต้นกำเนิดของแหล่งน้ำที่นำมาผลิตน้ำประปา มี 3 เพลง คือ เพลงมูรธาธาร เพลงเอกโอฬารเจ้าพระยา และเพลงวหาแม่กลองสุขสวัสดิ์ ช่วงที่สอง ผลผลิตทรงคุณภาพ: การตรวจจับสารพิษและการบำบัดน้ำ มี 4 เพลง ได้แก่ เพลงมัศยาคงคาลัย เพลงพลาดิศัยบูรณาสินธุ์ เพลงนฤมลทินธารวิสุทธิ์ และเพลงศรีอัมพุชชโลทร และช่วงที่สาม ตราบนทีเขษม: การลำเลียงน้ำเข้าสู่ครัวเรือนเพื่อความผาสุกของประชาชน มี 2 เพลง ได้แก่ เพลงสืบสายนาครสาคเรศ และเพลงสมเจตนามหานที โดยบทเพลงทั้ง 9 เพลง ใช้วิธีการประพันธ์แบบอัตโนมัติ และประพันธ์จากทำนองต้นราก วงดนตรีที่ใช้บรรเลง ได้แก่ วงดนตรีพิเศษ โดยรูปแบบของวงดนตรีจะเป็นวงที่ใช้วงเครื่องดนตรีประเภทเครื่องสาย เครื่องตี …

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบและแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์จากการแสดงเฉพาะที่ ณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย วัดช้างล้อม โดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและการวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย การสำรวจข้อมูลเชิงเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์ สื่อสารสนเทศ การสังเกตการณ์ การสัมมนา ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผู้วิจัย และเกณฑ์การสร้างมาตรฐานในการยกย่องบุคคลต้นแบบทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ นำข้อมูลมาตรวจสอบ วิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์ตามกระบวนการที่กำหนดไว้ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์จากการแสดงฉพาะที่ ณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย มีรูปแบบในการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์ทั้งสิ้น 7 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1) การเลือกพื้นที่ที่ใช้ในการนำเสนอ คือ วัดช้างล้อมณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย ประกอบไปด้วย ระเบียงคด เจดีย์ และวิหาร 2) บทการแสดง แบ่งออกเป็น 5 องก์ ได้แก่ องก์ที่ 1 อารัมภบท (Overture) องก์ที่ 2 สำรวจ (Explore) องก์ที่ 3 ประทับใจ (Impress) องก์ที่ 4 แสดงออก (Express) และองก์ที่ 5 สรุป (Conclusion) 3) ลีลานาฏยศิลป์แสดงออกผ่านลีลาการเคลื่อนไหวที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน (Everyday Movement) และการด้นสด (Improvisation) 4) ผู้วิจัยคัดเลือกนักแสดงที่มีทักษะนาฏยศิลป์ไทยและนาฏยศิลป์ร่วมสมัย 5) เครื่องแต่งกายให้ความสำคัญกับรูปแบบที่เรียบง่าย มีความกลมกลืนกับพื้นที่ ออกแบบในรูปแบบที่ไม่เจาะจงเพศ 6) เสียงและดนตรีประกอบการแสดงได้แก่ เสียงธรรมชาติ และดนตรีที่ประพันธ์ขึ้นใหม่ และ 7) แสงที่ใช้ประกอบการแสดง ใช้แสงธรรมชาติ เรียงตามลำดับจากองก์ 2-5 เป็นแสงในช่วงเวลา บ่าย เย็น เช้า สาย นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยยังหาแนวคิดที่ได้หลังการแสดงที่ต้องคำนึงถึง 5 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) สถานที่และโบราณสถาน ณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย 2) ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในงานนาฏยศิลป์ 3) การออกแบบพื้นที่ 4) …

Rap on Trial, the treatment of rap music as evidence in the American criminal legal process, is well-documented and increasingly scrutinised. Research has shown that – with little restraint – police, prosecutors, probation officers and judges use rap lyrics to investigate, prosecute and punish individuals. Less noticed is that a similar phenomenon is occurring in the American K–12 educational system, which disciplines school-age youth who participate in rap culture and sometimes refers them to the juvenile or criminal legal systems for additional punishment. Attempts to fuse fantasy and science fiction art work tend to be unidirectional. The artists begin with things that don’t make sense and then force them to make sense to the audience. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways. In some images, dinosaurs are given mechanically sound contraptions; dragons are given tendons, and basilisks are drawn with surprising accuracy. It applies science to the fictional to create an image that is plausible. The purpose of this transcendental phenomenological study is to understand the role that whiteness has in shaping the graduate education experiences of Southeast Asian American students in the United States. This study explores two research questions. 1) How do Southeast Asian American graduate students describe their graduate education? 2) How do Southeast Asian American graduate students describe concepts of whiteness, if any, throughout their graduate education? Utilizing testimonio methodology grounded in LatCrit and Chicana Feminism, this research centered the voices of 11 Latina undergraduates attending a 4-year private, predominantly white institution in the Western U.S. to understand how they defined and measured their own success in higher education. Traditional success measures focus on the institution's dominant measures, such as graduation and persistence rates. These success measures do not fully represent Latina/o/x values nor how Latinas undergraduates define their own success in higher education. Situated at a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), this postcritical ethnographic and photovoice study sought to explore how Latinx students define and practice civic engagement. Theoretically framed by Latino Cultural Citizenship (LCC), the study explored how current Latinx student civic engagement practices inform a Hispanic-Serving Institutions’ civic engagement efforts. Data collection took place over the 2021-2022 academic year and an exhibition of the study’s findings was made publicly available at the culmination of the study. Findings from the study indicate that Latinx postsecondary students define civic engagement as knowledge and resource sharing (KRS) and achieving success.
