La Créole - A Journal of Creole History & Genealogy
The Louisiana Creole Research Association, Inc., known as LA Creole, was founded on August 21, 2004 as a New Orleans-based, non-profit family research and educational organization. Its purpose is to assist Creoles of Color in researching their ancestry, to educate the general public about Creole history and culture, and to celebrate the contributions and legacy of a unique, sometimes forgotten people. La Créole, the Association’s journal is published annually.

These oral histories were taken from three Whittier College students who experienced the COVID-19 pandemic in varying ways. Generally speaking they experienced heightened feelings of anxiety/social anxiety, and apathy due to lock downs, the possibility of getting sick, not being able to interact with close friends and family.

Middle Woodland Mounds Of The Lower Chattahoochee, Lower Flint, And Apalachicola River Basin, Michael H. Lockman
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
A thorough literature review was completed in order to construct a database of all the known Middle Woodland-period (A.D. 300-700) mounds in the Apalachicola – lower Flint and lower Chattahoochee River drainages of northwest Florida, southwest Georgia, and southeast Alabama. The database presented in this document provides both quantitative and tabular data which may be used to evaluate, describe, and compare sites within this research region as they relate to one another as well as other sites in the Southeast. Through the lens of cultural materialism, descriptive statistics were used to summarize the accumulated data and ultimately refine our understanding …

From Participants To Co-Researchers: Methodological Alterations To A Qualitative Case Study, Elizabeth M. Pope
The Qualitative Report
Researchers request a variety of levels of engagement from their participants in a research study. This can range from merely serving as a data generation opportunity to being actively involved in each stage of the project. The latter is a co-researcher. In this paper, I explore how nine participants in a qualitative case study became co-researchers by the study’s conclusion. The increase in their active participation required methodological alterations to the project while I conducted the study. This paper presents these alterations by examining: (1) my position as a researcher; (2) my relationship with the participants; (3) the trajectory of …
