In his book, Al-Bukhary did not only choose the most accurate citing chain of narrators, but also he was correcting, doubting and predominating some Hadiths. Moreover, he may explain the reason for predominating a Hadith. Some of these Hadiths were narrated in the book of "Sahih Al-Bukhary" with its citing chain of narrators. Most scholars today have retreated from reading into the Pardoner's body in favor of more figurative readings that emphasize his lack of masculinity, and such lack is then linked to his dejection and despair.
