This study aims to identify and portray the main historical and civilizational features of the linguistic situation in Al-Maghreb and Al-Andalus, based on the Muqaddema of Ibn Khaldun (d. 808 A.H\1406 A.D), who was a witness to many of the scientific aspects of civilization in both countries, especially the Arabic language sciences, literature and arts, a large bulk of which, was transferred from the Islamic East and reached Al-Andalus and Al- Maghreb. This study aims to investigate the role of NGOs in motivating youths to volunteer work in the Sultanate of Oman. Also it analyzes the social and economic returns of youths’ volunteer work in civic societies and the facilities offered to them and the laws and regulations governing the work of volunteer in those societies. Qualitative approach used through collecting data from 90 interviewees represented of 85% of total population. Their responses were coded using (NVivo) program. This study aims to identify the relationship between phonological awareness and spatial visual memory, as well as, to detect the differences between Kuwaiti males and females and non-Kuwaitis with regard to reading learning difficulties in certain variables. The study adopts a comparative descriptive approach and uses sample of 350 primary students (3-5 grades) with reading learning difficulties (200 males and 150 females) Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis.
