Few towns in the United States can claim to be as in touch with its Civil War history as Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. As the site of one of the war’s most significant battles, Gettysburg today lives and breathes the Civil War every day through the historical tourism that Gettysburg National Military Park encourages, which itself has bred a Civil War merchandise economy in the town itself. As such, the town naturally becomes a new battleground for contemporary issues regarding the memory of the Civil War—including, most significantly, the interpretation and presentation of the Confederate battle flag. He was viewed as a joke candidate running an ego-driven campaign to promote his brand and his reality television show. In Special Collections here at Gettysburg College is a compilation of letters by Civil War officers responding to an invitation to attend the very first reunion of the Battle of Gettysburg. The reunion was initiated by David McConaughy–a lawyer in Adams County, PA who had organized a group of local men to fight for the Union during the war–and was meant to be a time for the officers who had fought here to come together and walk the battlefield. This research critically examines In Flaccus, a text from the ancient author Philo. The research takes into account the perspectives of several scholars, especially Erich S. Gruen, an American classicist and authority on the subject. The purpose of the research is to reexamine the causes of and motives for the outbreak of the Alexandrian riots in 38CE that left a significant portion of the city's Jewish population dead or confined to a ghetto.

Question: How does Rap music affect the perception of African American culture from other races pertaining to negative lyrics and images that rappers and their music sometimes portray, and the increased availability of images on social media? Fieldwork: The Billboard charts and lyrics of the most popular songs were studied to draw conclusions and recommendations. Research findings illustrated that every song studied and used for purposes of such discourse included references to oversexualization of women, promoted drug use (selling and abusing), prophesizing the need for money and material possessions, and other profanities. We will never be able to achieve a liberal civil society because limitations of a civil society cannot be seen to be just a matter that it sometimes operates in an arena where contradictory forces are at play-where imperfect people organize around democratic and liberal values, and also around values that can be defined as uncivil to protect their group-based interests. The five conditions prohibit a liberal civil society because when applied each of which seems, when independently considered, to be plausible, but when taken together in fact conflict and are logically incompatible. Native American Grave Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA)

• Became federal law on November 16, 1990 to correct gross inequalities between the protection of Native and non-Native cultural objects.
• Requires collecting institutions to: create an inventory of any Native American human skeletal remains, funerary objects, sacred objects, and items of cultural patrimony in their possession.
• Native American or Hawaiian groups can request repatriation if: they can show that they have true ownership of the cultural object or are a lineal descendant of the human remains in question.

延安時期，婚戀問題作為與農村傳統習俗對抗的焦點，以及獲得「群眾」支持的重要武器，被賦予了一種無法迴避的政治使命。1941年，中國共產黨在延安創辦大型中央機關報《解放日報》，其副刊亦成為延安時期極具影響性和權威性的文藝陣地。本文以延安《解放日報》副刊（1941.5.16-1947.3.27）的婚戀小說為主要研究對象，同時加入延安時期未在《解放日報》副刊發表，但影響較大的小說，如：、《小二黑結婚》等，作為論文的補充與對照向度。嘗試解決以下問題：一、延安時期的婚戀小說對五四時期的婚戀小說有何主動與被動的改變；二、探析作家如何思考「性」、「經濟」、「政治」、「家庭」在革命中的位置，各種政治、文化、思想因素出於何種理由、以何種形式滲入到婚戀故事之中，又是如何建構出一種新的主體想像。
