Interpretations Of Einstein's Equation E = Mc2, Francisco Flores

Philosophy

Interpretations of Einstein’s equation differ primarily concerning whether E = mc² entails that mass and energy are the same property of physical systems, and hence whether there is any sense in which mass is ever “converted” into energy (or vice versa). In this paper, I examine six interpretations of Einstein’s equation and argue that all but one fail to satisfy a minimal set of conditions that all interpretations of physical theories ought to satisfy. I argue that we should prefer the interpretation of Einstein’s equation that holds that mass and energy are distinct properties of physical systems. This interpretation …

This project proposed a better means to identify what manifests a sense of pride on college campuses and identify how, specifically, VCU could enrich the campus image, the campus experience and the campus environment to nurture and enhance institutional pride. Of the ideas that were proposed, Mary Cox, University Architect, was able to implement several under the purview of facilities management. The VCU Rams logo painted on campus streets and the use of banners highlighting key university accomplishments were among the ideas proposed in this project.

The article focuses on the legal proceedings between Prime Minister Alcide De Gasperi and editor Giovannino Guareschi at the Milan tribunal in Italy. Guareschi was convicted of libel counted upon by the British evidence. He was accused of forgery of the letters that he reproduced against De Gasperi.

Expatriate Algerian author Malika Mokeddem has modified literary genres throughout her fiction of the 20th and 21st centuries. For example, her second novel, Le siècle des sauterelles, combines elements of history and fantasy. This paper analyzes the ways in which the above novel containing fairy tale elements departs from strict fairy tale code. Les Mille et une nuits, and works by Perrault, Aulnoy, and Propp will provide the theoretical bases of my arguments.

The purpose of this project is to provide educators with substantial background information on the unjust history of the Mexican migrant farm worker in the United States and the life of César Chávez. The final goal is to include multiple websites and resources teachers can independently access in order to gain valuable information on migrant farm workers, César Chávez, and social action.

This study examines how post-process theories are being defined, negotiated, and enacted in composition classrooms. While recognizing that most composition instruction remains shaped by modern and process oriented theories, this research asks how post-process considerations might be currently informing teaching practices in some classrooms.
