Few artists have had careers as long and prolific as Ivan Mestrovic's, and even fewer have known as much success and recognition. It would require volumes of print to document completely and properly, to discuss, and to evaluate the quality and scope of his sculptural, architectural, and literary accomplishments, and then additional volumes to duplicate the many monographs, essays, and articles that have been written about him.
