Order given by General James Patton Anderson of the Army of Tennessee for the reassignment of four dismounted cavalrymen to Water’s Battery. Two of the men were from the Confederate 9th Kentucky Cavalry Regiment. It is noted that after the order was made out, all four men deserted.
