The Golden Age Of Roman Helvetia, H. Dwight Page Jun 1997

The Golden Age Of Roman Helvetia, H. Dwight Page

Swiss American Historical Society Review

Whereas the pre-Roman country of the Helvetii had been a vast forest whose inhabitants had lived in rudimentary hilltop oppida and had spent their lives hunting, fishing and tilling the soil of small farms, the Roman province of Helvetia in the third century after Christ was a prosperous nation whose citizens lived …

A Body Without Organs: Three Approaches- Cage, Bach, And Messiaen, Christian T. Asplund

Faculty Publications

Reading The Old Testament In Light Of The Restoration: A Comprehensive Bibliography Of Lds Writings On The Old Testament (1830-1997), David Rolph Seely

BYU Studies

The Prophet Joseph Smith described the Restoration as a bringing forth of treasures of "things new and old," and indeed modern revelation has shed great light on ancient truths. From Oliver Cowdery's commentary on Zephaniah published in The Evening and the Morning Star in 1833 to the present outpouring of publications in preparation for the Sunday School course of study on the Old Testament in 1998, Latter-day Saints have generated a wealth of writings on the Old Testament which examine anew this ancient book of scripture in light of the Restoration. Through the spectacles of the Restoration we are able …
