The history of a church is impossible to tell if the chronicles of its missions are ignored. It is the latter that give it life and continuity. This article aims to present a brief historical review of the development of the missions in the Church of the Nazarene in Cuba. We begin with Miss Leona Gardner, a North American missionary, who arrived on the island in 1902. n Ecuador, la mayoría de los casos de viudez corresponden a mujeres, muchas de ellas creyentes. Aunque no puedo asegurar que esto sea cierto en todos los casos, mi experiencia me ha mostrado que muchas viudas se sienten solas y desprotegidas en algún momento de su vida.
