Phelps and enable him "to ask, demand, sue for, recover, and receive of and from all persons whomsoever in the state of Ohio, all notes, mortgages, demands, accords and monies which may be due and owing to us in the state of Ohio." This handwritten copy of a legal document was recorded in Book No. 4-152, dated February 27th 1823.
