EVERY laborer, and particularly the editor of such a journal as THE MIDWEST QUARTERLY, is deserving of a little time off. Not only does he need to rest and recruit himself, but more importantly he needs that holiday of the spirit that comes with putting the old routine behind him and sallying into fresh fields, from which, hopefully, he will bring back a rich harvest.
