The 1906 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by A.H. Sims. Crowder's Mountain Church joined the Association. The Association joined Sandy Run Baptist Association to charter Boiling Springs High School.

Kings Mountain Baptist Association Minute Books
The 1905 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Kings Mountain Baptist Church in Cleveland County, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by J.S. Farmer. Rev. T. Dixon was selected to attend the 1906 Southern Convention. Boiling Springs was selected as the best location for the new denominational high school, and the Association agreed to provide funding to help with the construction of the school building.
