Kings Mountain Baptist Association Minute Books
The 1928 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by J. L. Jenkins. The report on Christian Education suggest that members provide support for the Centennial Fund and Boiling Springs Junior College. The tentative agreement to transition Boiling Springs High School to a junior college was adopted by the Convention with a few amendments. J.B. Davis will take over as president of Boiling Springs Junior College, and J.D. Huggins will become dean. the Commitee on Obituaries reports the passing of Rev. A.H. Sims.

El Chile Evangélico fue la primera publicación que apareció en Chile. Su primera edición salió en el mismo día del evento que inició la rupture en el seno de la Iglesia Metodista Episcopal en Chile y se cumplió en febrero de 1910. Relata los eventos paso por paso que resultaron en la expulsion definitive de los nuevos Pentecostales de esa organización. Empezó publicando semenalmente, dando numerosos testimonies y anécdotas que presentan al lector de manera clara lo que sucedía cuando caía al principio el fuego Pentecostal en Chile. Behaviorism may be most easily defined after contrasting it with other forms of psychology. Until the advent of behaviorism in 1912, all psychology was built upon a subject matter called consciousness or mind, as definitions of psychology show: James: "Psychology is the description and explanation of states of consciousness as such." Angell: " Psychology is commonly defined as the science of consciousness... Consciousness we can only define in terms of itself."
