One of the numerous accusations made against the Bible is that it contains contradictions. The one Book that is unique in every way is in no single phrase more unique than in the matter of its unity: yet it is in regard to that particular facet of truth that many of its enemies delight to aim their weapons, believing it to be a target worthy of a large share of their ammunition and energy.
