Overall landfill capacity within the state is decreasing over time, while the size of landfills on average is increasing, creating quite the contradiction and clear picture of the average consumer’s increase in waste production (Municipal Solid Waste, 2019). A change in management style, combined with increased visitation and the advanced age of guiding documents used to describe conditions and goals (known as Resource Management Plans) in Utah’s State Parks, are leading park managers to potentially not fulfill the objectives stated in their Resource Management Plans. Using a research tool known as “content analysis,” we analyzed the Research Management Plans of ten sample parks and found that written plans had strong priorities and goals regarding the care and management of natural resources. The purpose of this engaged public sociology study was to use social science to bring resident stakeholders into the process of governing pollution production in a rural community. The community has cancer clusters. Residents have concerns about direct exposure to pollution production in their neighborhood by a steel recycling plant that has been cited numerous times for environmental violations. The facility has been under voluntary remediation since 2009, but neighborhood residents were marginalized from the governance process. The Bluff River Trail (BRT) is a future 10+ mile trail along the San Juan River corridor in the 4-Corners region of the Southwestern United States. By asking, what is the land ethic of the Bluff Community? this qualitative study identifies behaviors and beliefs, or land ethics, between seven Bluff residents and the San Juan River corridor. A land ethic contributes to the social re/production of space; therefore, third space theory contextualizes intersecting and contradicting spatialities evidenced in data. By the early 1960s, Bethel was outgrowing its site on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul. Airborne light detection and ranging (LIDAR) systems allow archaeologists to capture 3D data of anthropogenic landscapes with a level of precision that permits the identification of archaeological sites in difficult to reach and inaccessible regions. These benefits have come with a deluge of LIDAR data that requires significant and costly manual labor to interpret and analyze. ภูมิทัศน์องค์กร (corporate landscape) เป็นรูปแบบภูมิสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีการใช้งานเป็นสำนักงานขององค์กรหรือสถานที่ทำงานของบุคลากรในองค์กร ในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาองค์กรธุรกิจชั้นนำหลายแห่งย้ายสำนักงานออกไปตั้งอยู่บริเวณชานเมือง พร้อมทั้งให้ความสำคัญกับการวางผังและออกแบบพื้นที่โครงการ จนเกิดเป็นภูมิทัศน์องค์กร โดยหลุยส์ โมซิงโก (Louise Mozingo) เรียกว่าพาสตอรัลแคปิตัลลิซึม (Pastoral Capitalism) และกล่าวว่าเป็นผลงานสร้างสรรค์ของอเมริกาในช่วงหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 จากความแพร่หลายในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาทำให้ทั่วโลกสนใจภูมิทัศน์องค์กรเช่นกัน การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) รวบรวมโครงการภูมิทัศน์องค์กรในประเทศไทย 2) บ่งชี้แนวโน้มการพัฒนาภูมิทัศน์องค์กรในประเทศไทยทั้งในมิติเชิงเวลาและมิติเชิงพื้นที่ 3) บ่งชี้ประเภทภูมิทัศน์องค์กรในประเทศไทยและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการจำแนกประเภทดังกล่าว และ 4) อธิบายลักษณะการวางผังและออกแบบภูมิทัศน์องค์กรในประเทศไทย ผลการวิจัยพบภูมิทัศน์องค์กรที่ใช้งานอยู่ในปัจจุบันได้ทั้งสิ้น 46 โครงการ ในมิติเชิงเวลาพบว่ามีแนวโน้มเปลี่ยนแปลงจากกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอสังหาริมทรัพย์และการก่อสร้าง สู่ธุรกิจการเงิน จนเข้าสู่วิกฤตเศรษฐกิจใน พ.ศ. 2540 และฟื้นตัวด้วยอุตสาหกรรมบริการและธุรกิจนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีในปัจจุบัน โดยพบว่าปัจจัยที่น่าจะส่งผลต่อแนวโน้มดังกล่าว ได้แก่ นโยบายเศรษฐกิจจากภาครัฐ สถานการณ์ที่ก่อให้เกิดความผันผวนทางเศรษฐกิจ และการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางดิจิทัล ส่วนในมิติเชิงพื้นที่พบว่าภูมิทัศน์องค์กรในประเทศไทยกระจุกตัวอยู่ในกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑลเป็นหลัก โดยพบว่าข้อจำกัดด้านกฎหมายผังเมือง นโยบายเศรษฐกิจ และการกระจุกตัวของเครือข่ายเศรษฐกิจน่าจะเป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อแนวโน้มดังกล่าว โดยสามารถจำแนกได้เป็น 4 ประเภทหลัก ได้แก่ องค์กรสถาน สถาบันองค์กร ภูมิทัศน์สำนักงานร่วม และภูมินิเวศย่านธุรกิจ ซึ่งพบว่าปัจจัยด้านลำดับขั้นการบริหารองค์กรที่มีการแบ่งเป็นฝ่ายต่าง ๆ เป็นปัจจัยที่สำคัญที่ส่งผลต่อการจำแนกประเภท นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถแบ่งประเภทย่อยได้อีก 9 ประเภท ซึ่งเป็นผลมาจากปัจจัยด้านความเป็นเจ้าของ ด้านทำเลที่ตั้ง ด้านขนาดพื้นที่ ด้านการกำหนดพื้นที่ใช้สอย และขอบเขตช่วงเวลา สามารถแบ่งเนื้อหาด้านการวางผังและออกแบบได้ 4 ประเด็น ได้แก่ สิ่งแวดล้อมและการเข้าถึง การกำหนดพื้นที่ใช้สอย ลักษณะการวางผัง และลักษณะการออกแบบภูมิทัศน์ โดยพบว่าไม่มีรูปแบบตายตัวซึ่งเป็นผลมาจากประเภทธุรกิจและภาพลักษณ์องค์กร ลำดับขั้นการบริหารจัดการองค์กร และลักษณะการออกแบบร่วมสมัย การวิจัยนี้นำมาซึ่งความเข้าใจพื้นฐานที่สำคัญและจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งต่อสาขาวิชาภูมิสถาปัตยกรรมและสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้องโดยเฉพาะสำหรับองค์กร ภูมิสถาปนิก นักออกแบบวางผัง และหน่วยงานรัฐ ในการพัฒนาแนวคิดและนโยบายเกี่ยวกับสภาพแวดล้อมของที่ทำงาน ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การสนับสนุนให้เกิดการพัฒนาภูมิทัศน์องค์กรในประเทศไทยในแนวทางที่เหมาะสมต่อไป

Pollinators are crucial to Kentucky ecosystems and the pollination of native plants. Given Kentucky’s central location, it offers an abundance of opportunity to create more pollinator habitats and aid in pollinator migration. จากนโยบายพัฒนาระบบบริการสุขภาพและสถานบริการสุขภาพให้ได้มาตรฐานและมีคุณภาพ กระทรวงสาธารณสุขได้กำหนดมาตรฐานและแนวทางการพัฒนาสำหรับสถานบริการสุขภาพของกระทรวงขึ้น การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผังบริเวณโรงพยาบาลชุมชนตามมาตรฐานของกระทรวงสาธารณสุขและเกณฑ์ทางเลือก ศึกษาปัญหาและข้อจำกัดที่ทำให้การวางผังโรงพยาบาลชุมชนไม่เป็นไปตามมาตรฐาน โดยใช้วิธีสำรวจโรงพยาบาลชุมชนในภาคกลาง 3 กรณีศึกษาด้วยการประเมินผังบริเวณโดยมีตัวชี้วัด 5 หมวด ได้แก่ การจัดเขตการใช้ที่ดิน ระบบการสัญจร มวลอาคารและที่ว่าง พื้นที่เปิดโล่งและงานภูมิทัศน์ และงานระบบสาธารณูปโภค ทำการสอบถามผู้ใช้งานและสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหารโรงพยาบาล ผลการประเมินผังปัจจุบันพบว่า ตัวชี้วัดที่ไม่เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์กระทรวงสาธารณสุข ได้แก่ หมวดระบบทางสัญจร หมวดมวลอาคารและที่ว่าง หมวดการจัดเขตการใช้ที่ดิน หมวดระบบสาธารณูปโภค และหมวดพื้นที่เปิดโล่งและงานภูมิทัศน์ สำหรับตัวชี้วัดที่ไม่เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ทางเลือก ได้แก่ หมวดระบบทางสัญจร หมวดพื้นที่เปิดโล่งและงานภูมิทัศน์ และหมวดงานระบบสาธารณูปโภค สอดคล้องกับความเห็นของผู้ใช้งานจากการตอบแบบสอบถามที่ต้องการทางเดินเท้า พื้นที่จอดรถและพื้นที่ใช้งานนอกอาคาร ด้านปัญหาและข้อจำกัดจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหารโรงพยาบาลพบว่า เกณฑ์มีการประกาศใช้ภายหลังจากการก่อสร้างโรงพยาบาลและการเผยแพร่ยังทำได้ไม่ทั่วถึง การขยายตัวของโรงพยาบาลไม่เป็นไปตามแผนที่วางไว้ รวมไปถึงการขาดองค์ความรู้สำหรับการบริหารจัดการกายภาพและผังบริเวณ ขาดการกำกับติดตามดูแลผังให้เป็นไปตามข้อกำหนดและกฎหมาย และงบประมาณที่มีจำกัดทำให้โรงพยาบาลชุมชนไม่ได้พัฒนากายภาพให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐาน

ภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำเป็นพื้นฐานของระบบสังคมของมนุษย์ที่เกิดขึ้น โดยมี “การบริการเชิงนิเวศ” เป็นตัวชี้วัดการใช้ประโยชน์ทรัพยากรของมนุษย์ในด้านต่าง ๆ ทั้งการตั้งถิ่นฐาน อุปโภคบริโภค การต่อยอดเป็นวิถีการดำรงชีพ การกำหนดรูปแบบทางสังคมและแหล่งกำเนิดทางวัฒนธรรมของมนุษย์ ตลอดจนการพัฒนาและเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างแม่น้ำของมนุษย์ โดยในปัจจุบัน การพัฒนาเปลี่ยนแปลงแม่น้ำที่เกิดขึ้น มีความไม่สอดคล้องกับพลวัตตามธรรมชาติของภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำที่มีอยู่เดิม ทำให้ส่งผลกระทบเชิงลบต่อทั้งภูมินิเวศ ระบบนิเวศ และการดำรงชีวิตของมนุษย์ การศึกษาความเปลี่ยนแปลงของภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำปิง มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อทำความเข้าใจ และเพื่อให้สามารถนิยามถึงภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำทั้งในมิติเชิงโครงสร้าง กระบวนการ บทบาทหน้าที่ที่เป็นพื้นฐานของการดำรงชีพมนุษย์ ตลอดจนบ่งชี้ถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลง และผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงของภูมินิเวศ ที่ส่งผลต่อการดำรงชีวิตและคุณภาพชีวิตของมนุษย์ โดยในวิทยานิพนธ์จะใช้พื้นฐานความรู้เรื่องภูมินิเวศวิทยา และภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำเป็นหลัก และทำการวิเคราะห์โครงสร้างกายภาพด้วยการทำแผนที่จำแนกสิ่งปกคลุมผิวดินและการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินจากข้อมูลสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ กับการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบจากภาพถ่ายภาคพื้นในมุมมองใกล้เคียงกับภาพถ่ายทางประวัติศาสตร์ เพื่อวิเคราะห์สภาพและอธิบายการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นบนภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำปิงในบริเวณเมืองเชียงใหม่และพื้นที่ข้างเคียง โดยผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นถึงคุณลักษณะของภูมินิเวศแม่น้ำปิงทั้งในด้านโครงสร้างและพลวัตของแม่น้ำ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานการดำรงชีวิตของคนในพื้นที่ รวมทั้งรูปแบบการเปลี่ยนแปลงและผลกระทบที่มนุษย์ได้รับจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างแม่น้ำปิงในปัจจุบัน
