This project is a Case Study, which will be submitted to the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JDMS) by the end of this quarter. During clinical hours in the Fall Quarter of 2024, this project required my choosing of a patient and their pathology to be the case that I would study and research. A case study manuscript about the importance of using ultrasound enhancement agents for patient with underlying cardiac disease such as left ventricular thrombus. This patient was at a higher risk for thrombus and no ultrasound enhancement agents were used in any of his exams. For better treatment outcomes, it's important to for everyone to be trained and knowledgeable on when and how to use ultrasound enhancement agents to maximize patient care outcomes.

Pull Factors Of College Selection: The Role Of Club Sports In Student Enrollment Decisions, Brett A. Anderson, Sean Seiler, Thomas Baker
Journal of Issues in Intercollegiate Athletics
The relationship between club sports in intercollegiate athletics and their influence on student recruitment and retention remains underexplored within the broader participatory sport ecosystem. Guided by push–pull models of college selection, this study examines whether the availability of club sports functions as a meaningful pull factor in students’ decisions to enroll in and remain at an institution. Survey data were collected from 151 current undergraduate and graduate club sport athletes across the United States. Exploratory factor analysis identified a distinct Club Sports factor, demonstrating strong construct validity and internal consistency. Check-In With A Chatbot: How Robots Are Redefining The Smart Hotel Experience, Jiaxin Sylvia Wang, Xiaoxiao Fu

The research by Wang and Fu explores how guests perceive and experience smart hotels, with a particular focus on human–robot interaction. Analyzing 546 online reviews from Chinese travelers, the study identifies five key dimensions of guest gratification: utilitarian, sensual, social, experiential, and overall satisfaction. Guests praised smart servicescapes, robot efficiency, and novelty, while also expressing emotional connections and expectations for personalized interaction. The findings offer hospitality leaders a roadmap for designing smart hotel experiences that are not only functional but emotionally engaging.

One central scene in The Hobbit – in which Bilbo Baggins finds the One Ring – takes place in a large subterranean cavern featuring a small island set within a body of water and reachable by boat. As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly prevalent across industries, there is a critical need for educational programs that teach effective AI governance and management. This article examines how educational institutions can develop comprehensive curricula to prepare professionals for the complex challenges of overseeing AI systems responsibly. It analyzes current gaps in AI governance education, proposes frameworks for curriculum design, and identifies key competencies required for effective AI stewardship. The findings suggest that successful AI governance education must adopt an interdisciplinary approach that integrates technical literacy, policy understanding, ethical reasoning, and organizational management.

This paper lays out a comprehensive, systemic, and conceptual framework for applying a financial calculator to handle graduated (growing) annuities, a practically important topic that has not received its due attention in finance textbooks.
