Troubleshooting And Diagnostics Of Electronic Computing Devices Using The Object Model Creation Method, Gulmira Shuxratovna Abidova, Asad Xolboy O’Gli Shosalmanov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
This paper presents a major challenge in fault diagnosis for electronic computing equipment is developing an object model tailored to support diagnostic tasks. Effective fault localization requires establishing a link between the diagnostic process and the object model. This connection should enable direct observation of diagnostic points and organize all potential defect and fault sources to clearly show their impact on each diagnostic point and the relevant parameters. Achieving this necessitates comprehensive information about parameter values, expected variations, and the permissible relationships between network elements that generate these parameters. Therefore, building a robust model is essential to facilitate accurate fault …

Chemical Technology, Control and Management
The paper presents the results of an experimental study on the intensification of convective heat exchange in tubular-lattice packings of rectification columns. Currently, in various sectors of the country's economy, either plate or packed rectification columns are mainly used, and combined devices are not used. Therefore, in this paper, studies were conducted on the intensification of the rectification process by using tubes with spiral turbulators with their staggered and corridor placement in the tube sheet. Analysis of the experimental data showed that the pitch of the turbulators s/deb significantly affects the heat exchange process. At the pitch of the spiral …

Comparative Analysis Of Not Logic Elements Implemented On Mosfet Transistors With Their Analogs Implemented On Bipolar Transistors, Nodira Batirdjanovna Аlimova, Nilufar Baxtiyorovna Gulyamova
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
This paper presents a comparative analysis of existing 'NOT' logic elements (LE) based on MOSFET transistors and their analogs using bipolar transistors. It was found that the 'NOT' LE circuit implemented with n-MOS transistors is analogous to the 'NOT' LE implemented with n-p-n bipolar transistors, i.e., integral-injection logic (I2L). The circuit of the LE"NOT" made on p-MOS transistors is an analog of the LE"NOT» made on bipolar transistors of the p-n-p structure. The methodologically significant similarity between the LE"NOT," implemented on complementary MOSFET transistors, and the LE" NOT," implemented on complementary bipolar transistors (BT), using the injection-voltaic effect and representing …

Thanks to the rapid advancements in Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs) and vehicular communication technologies, the concept of the Internet of Vehicles (IoVs) combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data promotes the vision of an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). An ITS is critical in enhancing road safety, traffic efficiency, and the overall driving experience by enabling a comprehensive data exchange platform. However, the open and dynamic nature of IoV networks brings significant performance and security challenges to IoV data acquisition, storage, and usage. To comprehensively tackle these challenges, this paper proposes a Decentralized Digital Watermarking framework for smart Vehicular …

Optimization-Based Motion Planning With Homotopy And Homology Class Constraints, Wenbo He
Optimization-Based Motion Planning With Homotopy And Homology Class Constraints, Wenbo He
McKelvey School of Engineering Graduate Student Theses & Dissertations
Motion Planning is a fundamental problem in robotics that aims to find an optimal trajectory for a system to move on while avoiding obstacles in the environment. Often, a feasible trajectory connecting the start and target point with the shortest length is highly desirable. Additionally, in scenarios such as drone racing or surveillance, topology constraints may arise. At the low level, the LQR or PID controller is utilized to steer the agent to move along the designed trajectory. At a high level, optimization-based, search-based, or sample-based algorithms are utilized to synthesize the feasible trajectory. In this thesis, we deal with …

Selective Pericyte Recruitment To Ec-Lined Tubes, Vessel Assembly Enhancement Through Pericyte Timp-3 Induction, And Pericyte Tbx2 In Capillary Formation And Maturation, Ksenia Marilyn Yrigoin Kaluguina
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
Capillaries, the smallest blood vascular networks, are formed by narrow and elongated endothelial cell (EC)-lined tubes with associated pericytes anchored to the abluminal tube surface. Our laboratory demonstrated that dynamic interactions between ECs and pericytes during capillary tube network assembly are required for basement membrane matrix deposition and maturation. We have also shown that key EC-derived factors promote pericyte recruitment, proliferation, and pericyte-induced basement membrane formation during capillary assembly. In the first section, we aim to identify if vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) respond to the same factors and have the same invasive ability as pericytes since they are both …

The choice of appropriate physical quantities to characterize the biological effects of ionizing radiation has evolved over time coupled with advances in scientific understanding. The basic hypothesis in radiation dosimetry is that the energy deposited by ionizing radiation initiates all the consequences of exposure in a biological sample (e.g., DNA damage, reproductive cell death). Physical quantities defined to characterize energy deposition have included dose, a measure of the mean energy imparted per unit mass of the target, and linear energy transfer (LET), a measure of the mean energy deposition per unit distance that charged particles traverse in a medium. The …

Numerical Simulation Of Gas Flow In A Direct-Flow Cyclone, V.S. Toptalov, S.U. Ganieva, O.M. Flisyuk, Kh.S. Nurmukhamedov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
A numerical model of gas flow in a direct-flow cyclone of two different configurations is presented. The main task of the simulation was to determine the gas velocity field in the apparatus and analyze the presence of a turbulent wake of the stabilizer swirled, which can have a negative impact on the efficiency of the apparatus. During the study, it was found that when the gas flow is disrupted by the stabilizer of the swirler, a turbulent wake is formed, into which trapped particles can fall. The solution to this problem is to lengthen the stabilizer and increase its diameter. …

This paper considers approximation methods for solving optimization problems while discussing the possibility to reduce the large amount of calculations. Hence, the approximation range is selected in accordance with the optimal value of the quality indicator. To do this, the upper and lower boundaries are being calculated followed by generating the control sequences that minimize the specified boundaries. The next step is to find an approximate solution. An approximate solution to the dual control problem comes from the problem of optimal control of a linear Gaussian system with a quadratic quality criterion and unknown parameters. For the dual control problem, …

Diagnosis Of Malfunctions In Servo Systems Considering Dynamic, Khurshid Salim Ugli Turaev
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
This study analyzes methods of fault-tolerant control and automatic fault diagnosis in servo systems considering dynamic redundancy. The application of diagnostic and fault-tolerant control methods is critical for addressing reliability and safety challenges in servo systems. Dynamic redundancy ensures the ability to respond quickly to faults in individual system components and minimizes their impact on overall system performance. The research examines approaches to fault detection, ensuring continuous operation of automated systems, and methods for their effective resolution. The practical significance of the study lies in the use of modern technologies to enhance the performance and fault tolerance of servo systems.
