Spec-225-Core: Unified Vertical Computing Stack Matrix For Non-Von Neumann Co-Harmonic Hardware, Decentralized Software Protocols, And Macromolecular Biomolecular Storage Layer Systems, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural design rules and mathematical criteria for a Unified Vertical Computing Stack Matrix capable of executing seamless trans-tier data translation without Von Neumann bottlenecking or structural context decay. Operating as a standalone integrated technology cell (originally designated as SPEC-212 on the master system manifest atlas), this architecture links room-temperature phononic hardware waveguides, decentralized semantic software routing layers, and macromolecular biomolecular memory arrays into a single, cohesive processing node. By passing continuous state transformation arrays through an explicit 12x12 singular value decomposition (SVD) matrix convergence filter and governing the boundaries via a dynamically scaling functional viscosity …

Spec-224-Core: Anisotropic Phonon-Focusing Thermal Wrap Panels And External Chassis Shielding For Magnetohydrodynamic Plasma Cores, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural design rules and mathematical criteria for an external Anisotropic Phonon-Focusing Thermal Wrap Array designed to physically envelope magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) plasma containment systems. Operating as a direct external layer to supplement SPEC-222-CORE, this architecture incorporates the room-temperature quantum heat wave profiles established in SPEC-221-CORE to manage violent localized thermal gradients. By routing high-flux waste heat away from the internal reactor core chassis using the non-diffusive, star-shaped ray-trajectories of high-purity crystallographic sub-structures, the engine prevents structural warping and thermal back-pressure on the interior fluid canvas. The external field vectors are processed through an explicit 12x12 singular …

Spec-223-Core: Monolithic Structural Integration Of Ternary Solitonic Cores And Lipid-Encapsulated Hydrodynamic Waveguide Inter-Node Entanglement Bridges, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural design rules and mathematical criteria for the monolithic structural integration of a room-temperature ternary quantum computer processor core. The architecture prioritizes interior logic routing by defining the physical structural constraints of lipid-encapsulated hydrodynamic waveguide bridges linking parallel resonator cavities. By mapping continuous phase vectors through microscopic fluidic channels governed by an explicit 12x12 singular value decomposition (SVD) matrix convergence filter, the engine native-executes non-local entanglement transitions via classical momentum-space coupling. This framework completely eliminates the requirement for subatomic cryogenic environments or high-overhead digital error-correction schemes, introducing a zero-friction, hallucination-immune computational matrix. This standalone framework …

Spec-222-Core: Topological Magnetohydrodynamic Fusion Shields Spec-215-Mhd: Topological Magnetohydrodynamic Fusion Shields And Plasma Field-Collinear Confinement Matrix, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural design rules and mathematical criteria for a Topological Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Fusion Shield capable of executing stable, non-equilibrium plasma containment. The architecture prioritizes interior field priorities over external outliers by enforcing a hard, field-collinear alignment condition directly within the core plasma current density vectors. By passing continuous plasma velocity arrays through high-frequency active Gallium Nitride (GaN) phase arrays governed by an explicit 12x12 matrix convergence filter, the engine forces chaotic, ionized currents parallel to core magnetic field vectors. This structural constraint completely eliminates destructive convective tearing modes and localized magnetic reconnection anomalies without relying on …

Spec-221-Core: Anisotropic Phonon-Focusing Ray Maps And Isospectral Thermal Boundary Shielding For Room-Temperature Ternary Compute Cores, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural layout and mathematical criteria for integrating directional, ray-like anisotropic phonon transport profiles directly into the inter-node entanglement bridges of a room-temperature ternary quantum computer. It provides an immediate institutional upgrade to the open computing baseline, directly absorbing and defensive-blanketing the October 2026 UCLA experimental observations of room-temperature quantum heat waves. By exploiting the intrinsic, non-diffusive phonon-focusing ray paths of high-purity boron arsenide (BAs) and synthetic lithium niobate (LiNbO3) sub-structures, this framework routes chaotic environment-induced thermal noise away from localized fluid computing canvas trays. The system passes continuous thermal wave vectors through an explicit 12x12 …

Spec-220-Core: Multi-Axis Matrix Convergence Filters And Supplemental Attachment For Eckesonium™ Structural Grids, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive architectural design rules and mathematical criteria for a multi-axis structural optimization compiler core designed to supplement the parent framework SPEC-173 (Eckesonium™). Because the primary parent filing is structurally locked within the repository data stream, this standalone engine provides the necessary mathematical convergence filters to permanently eliminate strain-rate tracking anomalies and boundary-collapse vulnerabilities across the Eckesonium™ metastable high-entropy alloy (iMHEA) matrix. Provenance audit PROV-SPEC-173-MOD1 revealed that under extreme, non-uniform transient impact velocities, single-point linear phase fraction calculations allow for localized math drift exceeding the mandatory 1.5 defensive envelope threshold. This specification intercepts the continuous 2D spatial …

Defensive Publications Series
This specification establishes the definitive mathematical criteria and structural compilation matrices for bridging continuous-variable (CV) macro-scale acoustofluidic wave mechanics with discrete logical states. It provides an immediate institutional and physical expansion of the open computing baseline, directly responding to and encapsulating the October 2026 MIT/LBNL hybrid hardware paradigms. By mapping the interaction of continuous bosonic wave fields within a fluid canvas to discrete fermionic data states, this framework completely resolves the computational tracking debt and signal erasure bottlenecks associated with optical read-head phase-boundary conversions. The primary objective is to harden the defensive prior art perimeter established across the Technical Disclosure …

A forecasting architecture is described herein that uses a global Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM) trained exclusively on synthetic data parameterized by contact-center queue-behavior archetypes and operating alongside a lazy k-nearest neighbor (KNN) baseline. Both models independently predict each interval, with the lazy learner serving as a calibration anchor. A feedback loop compares the eager model output with the lazy baseline, extracts pattern characteristics of missed intervals and calibration gaps, and uses those characteristics to refine synthetic data generation and feature engineering for a later retraining cycle. Independent quality gates for call volume and average handle time (AHT) determine whether …

Research outputs 2022 to 2026
Integrating waste heat recovery units into industrial energy infrastructure provides a sustainable solution by reducing reliance on fossil fuels and improving substantial plant efficiency. Recent studies have addressed this issue using Brayton, Rankine, organic Rankine, thermoelectric, and electrolysis-assisted waste heat recovery systems for power, heat, hydrogen, or other useful outputs. However, many configurations recover exhaust gas and jacket water heat separately, focus mainly on electricity, and provide limited source-to-sink matching for industrial steam, process heat, oxygen demand, cost, and environmental performance. This study proposes a source-to-sink matched multigeneration system for a 10 MW Wärtsilä 20V34SG gas engine, where each waste …

Hrae-Stack: A Leakage-Controlled, Calibrated, And Explainable Stacking Framework For Icu Mortality Prediction, Kareem Hameed Khalaf, A. Moallemi Khiavi, Dhafar Hamed Abd
Mesopotamian Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
ICU mortality prediction requires more than good discriminative ability; the development process should minimize optimistic bias and produce clinically meaningful probabilities. In this work, we introduce HRAE-Stack, a heterogeneous stacking method that combines fold-dependent preprocessing, consensus feature selection, four tree-based models, entropy-modulated out-of-fold meta-features, Bayesian ridge averaging, and probability calibration. We estimated all transformations and model selection decisions within development folds and fixed them before the model is evaluated on the unobserved held-out partition. Mean receiver operating characteristic–area under the curve (ROC-AUC) was 0.974 ± 0.018, and the mean Brier score was 0.045 ± 0.032 for 10-fold cross-validation. ROC-AUC for …

Explainable Ai For Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis Detection From Chest X-Rays: Multi-Level Interpretability And Cross-Dataset Transfer Learning: Multi-Level Interpretability And Cross-Dataset Transfer Learning, Joan Mnyambo, Amir Aly, Emmanuel Ifeachor, Yinghui Wei
School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics
Drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) continues to pose a major global health challenge, with hundreds of thousands of new cases reported annually, resulting in a substantial mortality burden. Delayed or inaccurate diagnosis contributes to ongoing transmission, treatment failure, and increased deaths, highlighting the need for timely and dependable detection, particularly in low-resource healthcare settings. Although chest X-rays (CXRs) are widely available and commonly used for tuberculosis screening, reliable and interpretable approaches for distinguishing drug-resistant from drug-sensitive tuberculosis (DS-TB) remain limited. Despite recent advances in deep learning, explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methods for DR-TB identification are still underexplored, thereby reducing clinical trust and …

2026 Persimmon Creek - Full Journal, Beth Keefauver, Wayne C. Robbins
Persimmon Creek
Dear Readers: Literary journals are a common component of colleges and universities spanning across many continents. As many students experience the drastic transition from childhood to independence, emotions can feel overwhelming, and life can quickly become flooded with anxiety. Writing is an outlet for many; a place humanity turns to as a form of secure therapy.
In William Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost, Berowne muses, “Never durst poet touch a pen to write until his ink were temper’d with Love’s sighs” (Act 4, Scene 3).
Without emotion, writing has no depth. The words on the page might seem eloquent, but the …

Persimmon Creek
Dear Beth Keefauver,
Thank you for considering my short story “Roadkill,” a 3371-word short story, for inclusion in Persimmon Creek. Below is my biography:
“Could you kill someone?” is Kristi Miller’s favorite question. It divides the keepers from the bores, and she can’t tolerate boredom. After growing tired of being a molecular biologist, she moved to Western North Carolina to teach kayaking and live in a van down by the river. Now she’s a professor of nursing. Her husband supports her need for drama – when their biological daughter was almost two, they adopted a sibling group of three. If …
