Podcasting has produced a glut of cultural content. Collecting and saving these sounds for future study, however, remains challenging. This article asks: “How are recent developments in the platformization of podcasting threatening the ability of users and researchers to save, study, and sustain podcasts and the cultural insights they offer?” To answer, we focus on a podcast preservation project, PodcastRE.org, and discuss strategies for creating an (un)stable repository for future studies of podcasting. Despite the growing presence of women in creative and leadership roles within the fashion industry, many continue to face barriers to leadership progression. Leadership rejection remains a critical yet underexplored experience that can significantly affect women's professional identity and aspirations. The research aims to explore the lived experiences of women in the fashion industry who perceive being rejected from leadership positions due to discrimination. Using a qualitative, phenomenological approach, 13 semi-structured interviews were conducted with women in the fashion industry of Pakistan. Contemporary literature increasingly links rising levels of armed violence in several African countries to the repercussions of climate change, particularly long-term environmental stresses such as the deterioration of agricultural livelihoods, resource scarcity, and recurrent climate shocks. However, this study argues that the relationship between climate change and violence is not an inevitable causal one, but can be understood as the result of the intersection of the failure of the post-independence nation-building project and the impacts of climate change on livelihoods and economic security. Background – Airborne pollutants comprise biological agents such as lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and engineered nanomaterials, including carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which are increasingly prevalent in industrial and consumer applications. Although the pulmonary toxicity of high-dose CNT exposure is established, the inflammatory consequences of low-dose, non-cytotoxic CNT exposure, particularly in combination with other aerosols, remain poorly understood. Methods – We investigated cytotoxicity and proinflammatory responses to multi-walled CNTs in three-dimensional A549 human epithelial spheroids, compared with A549 monolayers and MM6 monocytes. The primary in-person site was the Institute for Advanced Computational Science (IACS), Stony Brook University. This paper presents a novel packet loss concealment system called “Regulator,” designed for interactive network audio applications, particularly server-mediated “jam rooms” in the cloud, where large ensembles of musicians perform together synchronously. The system addresses the critical challenge of maintaining continuous high-quality audio output while minimizing latency penalties in unreliable network environments including Wi-Fi. This paper examines how MIDI-native interaction provides a structurally robust alternative to audio-centric telematic systems constrained by latency, bandwidth, and waveform fidelity. In 2020, a school librarian volunteered to lead preservation of the papers of visionary artist M.B. Mayfield that were discovered during the restoration of the artist’s Mississippi home. In March of 2020, the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic threatened the success of the community-led project, due to the project’s physical isolation, limited resources, and inability to garner support for the paper’s preservation. In early 2021, the librarian and community partners formed a shared authority and distributed archives partnership with public history faculty at the University of Mississippi that would help preserve and increase awareness of the importance of the papers. …

The December 2025 IndiGo flight disruption crisis, characterized by widespread cancellations, delays, and capacity constraints, significantly impacted India’s tourism and hospitality sectors during peak travel periods. This research report examines the cascading effects of aviation instability on tourism demand, hotel occupancy, pricing dynamics, and regional economies. Drawing on secondary data from industry reports, news coverage, and policy analyses, the study identifies systemic vulnerabilities in India’s aviation–tourism nexus. Findings indicate that flight disruptions led to large-scale hotel cancellations, revenue losses, and demand volatility, particularly in destination-dependent regions in India such as Darjeeling, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. The ongoing Middle East conflict (2026) has triggered one of the most significant global aviation disruptions since the COVID-19 pandemic, with widespread airspace closures, flight cancellations, rerouting, and fuel cost escalation affecting airlines worldwide. This research report examines how conflict-driven aviation instability has impacted tourism demand, hospitality performance, and destination economies.

Drawing on real-time global evidence, the study finds that the closure of critical air corridors across the Middle East, which handle approximately 15% of global air traffic, led to thousands of daily flight cancellations, mass rerouting, and substantial cost increases for airlines. Objectives: Coronary artery disease (CAD) and cerebrovascular disease (CVD) share common atherosclerotic pathways. However, the clinical significance of headache absence during stress testing remains unexplored. We investigated whether the absence of headache during pharmacological stress testing reflects the presence of subtle cerebrovascular atherosclerosis detectable by transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (TCD).

Methods: This cross-sectional study enrolled 225 patients with CAD undergoing pharmacological stress testing with TCD and myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) at centers in Egypt (Cardiology Department, Fayoum University). This publication discloses a computer-implemented method and system that scans a running HTTP/REST service for authentication and role-based access-control (RBAC) conformance defects without any machine-readable API specification. Conventional API security scanners (Schemathesis, RESTler, 42Crunch, StackHawk, and comparable tools) require an OpenAPI/Swagger document or a recorded traffic corpus to know both what endpoints exist and what each endpoint's correct behavior is. Realtime, low-latency voice assistants are increasingly built on WebRTC: the browser negotiates a peer connection directly with the model provider's realtime endpoint and streams audio over SRTP/DTLS, bypassing the application server entirely for the media path. This delivers sub-second latency but destroys the enforcement point that data-loss-prevention (DLP) and cloud-access-security-broker (CASB) systems rely on. A prompt-DLP proxy inspects HTTP request and response bodies; it can neither decrypt nor even observe a WebRTC audio stream that never traverses it. Documenting species, particularly those that are threatened or endangered, is fundamental to biodiversity conservation. However, many taxa remain scientifically unrecognized, being either undiscovered or unpublished. While some plants can be easily recognized as new species, other identifications are obscured by morphological, taxonomic, and nomenclatural complexity. Detecting cryptic or “hidden” species is therefore essential to understanding biodiversity and plant evolution. Our revisionary studies on Salvia demonstrate that the morphologically complex Salvia caespitosa is not a single species but instead comprises at least four distinct species, three with narrow distributions.
