Report On The Specialized Study Days On Parliamentary Experience And Legislative Practice In Morocco: Faculty Of Law, Rabat, May 24–26, 1984, Mohamed Moatassim

Revue Marocaine de Droit, d'Economie et de Gestion (Moroccan Journal of Law, Economics and Management)

This report presents and discusses the specialized study days devoted to parliamentary experience and legislative practice in Morocco, held at the Faculty of Law in Rabat from May 24 to 26, 1984. OBJECTIVES: Vaccination is one of the most effective public health interventions. Large language models (LLMs) show great capability for providing health information. This study compared the performance of ChatGPT 3.5 (G3E), ChatGPT 4o in English (G4E), Claude 3.0 (CDE), Gemini 1.5 (GME), and ChatGPT 4o in Italian (G4I) in delivering information on vaccination and preventive medicine.

STUDY DESIGN: Mixed-method analysis evaluating large language models.

Native Nations and noncitizens have often prevailed in the face of adverse state action by asserting treaty rights, arguing that state actions are preempted by federal authority, or relying on federal common law. These claims are largely rooted in the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution, rather than Native Nations’ or noncitizens’ rights of their own. Frequently, corporations require consumers to agree to litigate disputes in locales favorable to their corporate interests. In the Supreme Court’s 2023 decision Mallory v. Norfolk Southern, it was a corporation that found itself subject to suit in an unwanted jurisdiction. This corporation—Norfolk Southern Railway—was required to answer a suit in Pennsylvania solely because of its consent to do business there under Pennsylvania’s “jurisdiction-via-registration” clause for foreign businesses. In that case, Justice Samuel Alito raised the possibility of injecting a separate doctrine of constitutional analysis—the dormant Commerce Clause—into personal jurisdiction analysis. Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs) are faith-based, free pregnancy care facilities designed to attract vulnerable pregnant individuals, especially those who may be considering abortion. Through the use of deceptive practices, CPCs, which far outnumber abortion clinics, are able to intercept pregnant people seeking care and discourage or prevent them from receiving abortion care. Pro-life legal groups aggressively wage legal battles on states who seek to curb CPC-propagated deception. In 2018, one of these groups achieved a victory for CPCs in NIFLA v. Section 546(d) of Title 28 of the United States Code authorizes a district court to appoint an interim United States Attorney during any vacancy of more than 120 days. The provision has been in place since 1863 and, for most of that time, Presidents have made no attempt to remove court-appointed interim U.S. Attorney through means other than the nomination and confirmation of a replacement. That changed initially in 2020, when President Trump attempted to remove Geoffrey Berman of the Southern District of New York. BACKGROUND: Intra-hospital transfers (IHT) of hospitalized children are unavoidable practices often performed with emergency patients and postoperative patients. Standardizing IHT processes to minimize adverse events might improve children's outcomes. We developed an evidence-based clinical practice IHT guideline for hospitalized children. The aim of this study was to evaluate the implementation process and the effectiveness of the implementation of this guideline on patient outcomes, healthcare professionals' knowledge and behavior, and hospital organizational context.

The prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is rapidly increasing among adults aged 50 years and older in the United States, posing a significant public health challenge. In 2021, an estimated 38.4 million Americans had diabetes, with adults aged 50years and above constituting a disproportionately large segment of this population. Evidence suggests that community-based lifestyle and educational interventions are effective in reducing the risk of T2DM among older adults. These interventions particularly promote dietary modification, increased physical activity, and diabetes education. Abstract

Background: Traditional, precepted clinical practice sites continue to decline. Community health fairs (CHFs), led by experienced interprofessional faculty, present a valuable opportunity. In addition, CHFs provide students with hands-on experience in real-world settings.

Aim: This study examined the perspectives and clinical experiences of interprofessional faculty and students participating in a CHF.

Methods: This study utilized qualitative and quantitative design. Fourteen participants (seven students, seven faculty) engaged in conversational interviews, and completed a faculty and student survey as well as a demographic survey. Over the last two years, national and regional PID strategies, including the US National PID Strategy, have helped communities to adopt and integrate persistent identifiers into research workflows. These strategies have highlighted a crucial next step: reaching a shared understanding of what actually constitutes a PID.

Building on the momentum of these strategies, NISO and RDA-US have launched a working group to develop a formal standard defining the characteristics of a persistent identifier system. This standard will help funders, institutions, infrastructure providers, and policymakers make consistent decisions about which identifiers to mandate, support, and integrate into workflows. This disclosure describes an adaptive orchestration system that can dynamically route computational tasks to an appropriate backend, such as a local processor or a remote cloud service. The system can use a multi-objective optimization approach, balancing the semantic complexity of a given task, which may be estimated by a lightweight proxy model, against the real-time physical state of the device, including its thermal status, battery level, and network connectivity. This method of hardware-aware routing can proactively manage thermal loads and power consumption, which may improve operational efficiency and mitigate performance degradation associated with system-wide throttling on such devices.

The Caspian Sea, the Earth's largest inland water body, faces water level decline, drawing comparisons to the collapse of the Aral Sea. Unlike the Aral Sea, the relative roles of climatic variability, hydrological changes, and anthropogenic pressures on the Caspian Sea remain poorly understood. Here, we integrate satellite observations, in situ hydrological records and reanalysis data to examine recent drivers of the Caspian water loss. We show that total river inflow to the Caspian Sea has declined significantly, primarily due to reduced discharge from the Volga River. The fast development of autonomous vehicle systems will create major changes in how people move around. Previous research shows that these technologies can benefit older people who struggle with mobility, safety and access to transportation. Shared Autonomous Vehicles (SAVs) enable older people to achieve self-reliance while obtaining essential services which enhance their quality of living. The successful deployment of SAVs requires users to accept this new technology which they must also be willing to use. This research study investigates which elements affect older adults to adopt SAVs by using an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework.
