Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) knowledge is crucial for informed decision-making, yet cultural barriers in Malaysia limit open discussions, creating significant knowledge gaps. This study validated the Malay version of the Adolescent SRH Knowledge and Attitudes Questionnaire to address this need. The validation process included expert content review (6 panelists), face validity testing (30 respondents), and psychometric analysis among 100 adolescents in Sarawak. The questionnaire demonstrated excellent content validity as rated by the experts and strong face validity among adolescents. BACKGROUND: Accurate risk stratification of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is critical for selecting the most appropriate treatment options. Existing prognostic systems, which incorporate various clinical and pathological parameters, have limitations in terms of accuracy. However, it remains unclear whether integrating molecular data with clinicopathological features can enhance the identification of high-risk tumors. The objective of this study was to establish a model to predict RCC recurrence by integrating molecular data with clinicopathological features and to evaluate circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a non-invasive prognostic marker.

Economic And Employment Outcomes Of Youth Vocational Education In Tanzania, William George

Tanzanian Economic Review

This study examines vocational education’s effectiveness in addressing youth unemployment and promoting economic self-reliance in Tanzania. Data from 394 vocational graduates were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression models to assess the impact of vocational training on employment and economic outcomes. Results show that 83.6% of respondents believe vocational education provides essential employment skills, while 62.3% agree it enhances productivity. However, 39.3% highlight the need for reforms to better align training with labor market needs. The findings underscore vocational education's vital role in youth employment, advocating for curriculum updates and increased resources to improve system effectiveness.

Regulatory toxicology depends primarily on animal testing, which limits throughput, mechanistic interpretability, and applicability to human-relevant endpoints. This dissertation presents computational approaches that integrate publicly available bioactivity data with machine learning to support chemical safety evaluation. Oral carcinogenicity was modeled using curated chemicals from the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) and activity data from over 1,900 PubChem assays. Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) models trained on statistically prioritized assays demonstrated strong predictive performance and were applied to rank the carcinogenic potential of more than 16,000 compounds. This paper examines the impact of institutional quality on public debt dynamics in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) from 2010 to 2023. Using the system Generalized Method of Moments (GMM)estimator, the study investigates how key governance dimensions (control of corruption, government effectiveness, political stability, regulatory quality, rule of law, and voice and accountability) affect public debt dynamics across 41 SSA countries. GDP growth, debt servicing, population growth, trade openness, inflation, unemployment, and government expenditure, are used to capture broader debt drivers. The results indicate that a one-unit improvement in overall institutional quality reduces debt-to-GDP ratio by approximately 0.92%. Control of corruption, government …

The Exceptions Clause of Article III of the Constitution is clear that “Congress” “shall make” the rules prescribing the Court’s “appellate jurisdiction.” And so Congress did for almost 150 years. But in the twentieth century, Congress delegated its power to the Supreme Court in the form of—as Chief Justice Taft demanded—”absolute and arbitrary” discretion to pick its appellate cases. Today, under the resulting certiorari regime, the Court enjoys that unbridled discretion in selecting its cases.

Purdue Pharma, the United States Supreme Court held that victims of the opioid crisis could not be forced to release their independent claims against the Sacklers, who owned and controlled Purdue, without the victims’ consent. Such releases had become a controversial mainstay of mass tort bankruptcy filings. Yet Purdue was decided on narrow, textualist grounds, leaving as a side effect many seemingly disparate and difficult questions unanswered. Aim: This scoping review summarizes evidence on the impact of environmental factors on breast cancer risks and outcomes.

Methodology: A systematic search was performed on PubMed, CINAHL, and ScienceDirect to identify peer-reviewed, English-only sources published between 2020 and 2025 on the impact of lifestyle factors on breast cancer risk and outcomes.

Results: A total of 15 studies (three cohort studies, two cross-sectional studies, five systematic reviews, four narrative reviews, and one case-controlled study) met the inclusion criteria. This research examines the paradoxical relationship between the destruction of religious buildings in Ukraine during the Russian invasion and the effectiveness of Russian propaganda narratives. Using a mixed-methods approach combining statistical data, sociological surveys, and document analysis, we investigate how the systematic targeting of Ukrainian religious sites by Russian forces has produced effects contrary to those likely intended. This article revisits the method of introspection as a valuable tool for studying religious experience in Estonia, where spirituality is often personal, unaffiliated, and deeply introspective. Drawing on the legacy of the Dorpat school—particularly Karl Girgensohn—it highlights how experimental introspection can illuminate the dimensions of faith. Considering Estonia’s post-Soviet religious individualization, the method offers a culturally fitting and academically rigorous approach. The study argues for the revival and adaptation of introspective techniques to explore the inner dynamics of belief in a secular yet spiritually curious society.

This article examines the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) as a key instrument of hybrid warfare against Ukraine. It analyzes the ROC's primary strategies for influencing Ukraine's information space, particularly through religious rhetoric manipulation and the exploitation of ecclesiastical structures to disseminate pro-Kremlin narratives. The study identifies key mechanisms of the ROC's media influence, including direct control over religious media outlets, active participation of clergy in promoting Russian propaganda narratives, financial backing of pro-Russian media projects, and systematic disinformation campaigns about Ukraine's religious landscape.

The Context

On August 20, 2024, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Bill #8371, “On the Protection of the Constitutional Order in the Sphere of Activity of Religious Organizations,” passed by the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s legislature. As a measure of wartime national security its provisions include a ban on the staunchly pro-Putin Russian Orthodox Church. It also requires the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), historically subordinate to the Moscow Patriarchate, to sever all ties with its parent church and to prevent its congregations from abetting the Russian war effort against Ukraine.

However, at a later stage, the SOC revised its stance, and by 1959, it not only recognized the existence of the Macedonian Church but also granted it the right to independent organization and governance in the form of autonomy. Background/Objectives: Lurasidone ((3aR,4S,7R,7aS)-2-{(1R,2R)-2-[4-(1,2-benzisothiazol-3-yl)piperazin-1-ylmethyl]cyclohexylmethyl}hexahydro-4,7-methano-2H-isoindole-1,3-dione) is a second-generation antipsychotic approved for schizophrenia and mood disorders. Adolescents and children with bipolar disorder receive treatments that expose them to weight gain and metabolic syndrome. Lurasidone is relatively free from such side effects, so it may constitute a useful alternative for the treatment of these patients. We focused on the use of lurasidone in children and adolescents with bipolar disorder.
