Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) knowledge is crucial for informed decision-making, yet cultural barriers in Malaysia limit open discussions, creating significant knowledge gaps. This study validated the Malay version of the Adolescent SRH Knowledge and Attitudes Questionnaire to address this need. The validation process included expert content review (6 panelists), face validity testing (30 respondents), and psychometric analysis among 100 adolescents in Sarawak. The questionnaire demonstrated excellent content validity as rated by the experts and strong face validity among adolescents. BACKGROUND: Accurate risk stratification of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is critical for selecting the most appropriate treatment options. Existing prognostic systems, which incorporate various clinical and pathological parameters, have limitations in terms of accuracy. However, it remains unclear whether integrating molecular data with clinicopathological features can enhance the identification of high-risk tumors. The objective of this study was to establish a model to predict RCC recurrence by integrating molecular data with clinicopathological features and to evaluate circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a non-invasive prognostic marker.

The Exceptions Clause of Article III of the Constitution is clear that “Congress” “shall make” the rules prescribing the Court’s “appellate jurisdiction.” And so Congress did for almost 150 years. But in the twentieth century, Congress delegated its power to the Supreme Court in the form of—as Chief Justice Taft demanded—”absolute and arbitrary” discretion to pick its appellate cases. Today, under the resulting certiorari regime, the Court enjoys that unbridled discretion in selecting its cases.

Because Congress delegated its power to the Court without articulating “an intelligible principle,” certiorari jurisdiction violates the nondelegation doctrine and is unconstitutional. This Article is …

In Harrington v. Purdue Pharma, the United States Supreme Court held that victims of the opioid crisis could not be forced to release their independent claims against the Sacklers, who owned and controlled Purdue, without the victims’ consent. Such releases had become a controversial mainstay of mass tort bankruptcy filings. Economic And Employment Outcomes Of Youth Vocational Education In Tanzania, William George

Tanzanian Economic Review

This study examines vocational education’s effectiveness in addressing youth unemployment and promoting economic self-reliance in Tanzania. Data from 394 vocational graduates were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression models to assess the impact of vocational training on employment and economic outcomes. Results show that 83.6% of respondents believe vocational education provides essential employment skills, while 62.3% agree it enhances productivity. However, 39.3% highlight the need for reforms to better align training with labor market needs. The findings underscore vocational education's vital role in youth employment, advocating for curriculum updates and increased resources to improve system effectiveness.

Organelle dynamics lie at the heart of cellular signaling and metabolic regulation, orchestrating physiological processes such as reproduction and aging across the lifespan. In this dissertation, I investigate how organelle-based signaling coordinates sperm activation and modulates organismal aging in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. I identify SPIN-4, a previously uncharacterized Spinster family transporter, as a key regulator of spermiogenesis. SPIN-4 is strongly expressed in developing sperm, localizes to the plasma membrane, and promotes sperm activation by facilitating the export of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P). Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease characterized by multiple-organ involvement and notably by fibrosis. Current therapies for SSc focus on symptom managements and treating specific organ related complications. However, heterogeneous nature of the disease further complicates treatment responses and hinders the development of new therapies. Therefore, there is a critical unmet need for the development of patient-specific therapeutics.

This research presents a comprehensive analysis of the mooring system design for the 1 MW OE35 wave energy converter, which is being developed by the WEDUSEA project. The study centres on the dynamic analysis of mooring configurations using Orcaflex software to simulate the environmental and operational conditions expected at the deployment site. The analysis involved an iterative design and validation process, refined through both numerical modelling and basin testing.
