The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for recovering useable, secure and available key for blockchain applications. The method involves receiving an input story from a user that encapsulates a memorable life experience and processing this using a natural language processing (NLP) model to create a semantic embedding vector. Additionally, the method optionally collects a biometric sample to produce biometric embedding, which is combined with semantic embedding. Locality-sensitive hashing (LSH) is applied to this combined embedding to create a fixed-length bitstring, which is then processed through a fuzzy extractor to produce a stable, cryptographically strong key for securing digital …

How to develop landscape criticism after the “cultural turn” has received significant critical attention in recent years within Western academia. Contemporary British geographers, notably Nigel Thrift, have explored ways to address the methodological challenges faced by cultural geography. After examining the limits of representation in the production of knowledge, Thrift advocates for a “non-representational” turn in cultural geography. Drawing on Latour's “Actor Network Theory” and Deleuze's elaboration of Spinoza's concept of affect, this approach challenges the binaries inherent in representation, such as reality versus appearance, interior versus exterior, materiality versus discourse, presence versus absence. SNP paternity testing panels offer high-resolution capabilities for determining livestock paternity, thereby enhancing the reliability of genetic verification and ensuring pedigree record accuracy. In this study, we aimed to develop a SNP-based paternity test panel utilizing a 50K SNP chip for paternity testing and pedigree verification in the Eşme sheep breed. Additionally, the study sought to validate the paternity test panel. Based on data from 26 rams and 524 lambs of the Eşme sheep breed, the results indicated that the 50K SNP chip used demonstrated a very high genotyping rate, with the majority of its 53,738 SNPs exhibiting significant polymorphism. …

Firefighters have suicidal ideation and attempt rates that are 2 to 3 times higher than the general population, yet most do not seek treatment. The purpose of this qualitative Delphi study was to develop an expert consensus on psychological assessment and treatment practices with firefighters through the lens of an expert panel of 19 psychologists who work with this population. This interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) was conducted to explore the lived experiences of licensed psychologists in diagnosing adolescents with bipolar disorder, aiming to answer two key questions: How do psychologists make sense of diagnosing bipolar disorder in adolescents? And do they rely on their education and lived experience in the diagnostic process? Drawing from developmental psychology, clinical decision-making theories, and ethical considerations, the study highlights the complexities and challenges of diagnosing bipolar disorder in youth. The landlord sought to evict an adult daughter. The tenant's argument that a familial relationship exempts her from eviction as a licensee was rejected as improperly raised and lacking merit, as the RPAPL contains no such exemption. The court also found renewal properly denied because the purportedly new material was available at the time of the original motion and would not alter the prior decision.

These criminal law reforms raise the issue of whether individuals who were convicted in the past should be exonerated retroactively by way of pardons or clemency.
