This article examines the Draft Law on Cybersecurity and Resilience (RUU KKS 2025), which consolidates the authority of the National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN) and strengthens protections for critical information infrastructure. While the bill enhances technical resilience and institutional coordination, it remains silent on cyberterrorism, leaving statutory, institutional, and international gaps. Adopted in 1962, the Brussels Convention on the Liability of the Operators of Nuclear Ships has been considered an obsolete instrument for the last 60 years. In light of renewed interest in floating nuclear power plants (FNPPs), this article revisits the regime of this half-forgotten Convention and calls for its modernisation. The fact is that a robust legal framework for liability and compensation must accompany any prospective deployment of FNPPs. Barycentric interpolation, which comes from Lagrange interpolation, is a useful method in numerical analysis. In this research paper, we explain how the barycentric interpolation formula is derived and discuss its features. We compare its stability and performance with the traditional Lagrange formula. First, we show how to get the barycentric formula from the Lagrange polynomial and present it as a rational function. We also provide an estimate of the error. Public research institutions are critical actors in driving innovation through publicly funded research. They need to build and deploy their core assets of human capital for knowledge production, yet they often operate with constrained autonomy. This study examines how financial management autonomy shapes talent strategies and, in turn, research productivity in China’s leading research institutions. Exploiting a quasi-natural experiment in which 30% of top institutions were granted autonomy over personnel budgets, we compare divergent pathways linking autonomy to performance. As more people remain in their homes as they age, the risk of living at home with frailty and reduced function increases, which may also increase the risk for falls in the home. The scientific literature shows that frail people are more likely to experience falls, which leads to many negative outcomes, such as hospitalization, placement in a skilled nursing facility, and even death.
