This comparative multi-case study examined the unseen processes behind clinical placement planning in allied health education. Clinical placements are essential to preparing students in speech-language pathology (SLP), occupational therapy (OT), and physical therapy (PT); however, little research has explored how Directors and Coordinators of Clinical Education (DCE/CCEs) navigate the complex decision-making involved in planning these experiences. Guided by Greco and Myers’ (2024) framework conceptualizing placement planning as an interaction between process and experience, this study explored how coordinators described their planning processes and the role of student-centeredness within them.

The wind band repertoire has long been subject to rigorous scrutiny regarding its artistic legitimacy, and scholars have invested considerable effort in developing frameworks through which that legitimacy can be assessed. The most enduring of these is Acton Ostling's ten criteria of serious artistic merit, formulated in 1978 and tested across nearly half a century of subsequent scholarship. This thesis argues that JaRod Hall's Golden Horizons (2024) satisfies those criteria, through a close analysis of a single contemporary work, and what it reveals about the framework's continued analytical utility.

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of human trafficking involving Malaysians in Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar. Employing a systematic review approach based on the PRISMA methodology, the study examines 63 news records from The Star, covering the period from March to September 2022. The findings reveal a notable increase in media coverage during this time, signaling heightened awareness of Malaysian human trafficking issues. Firm-level behaviour within port-industrial clusters shapes regional competitiveness, yet empirical evidence from Sub-Saharan Africa remains scarce. This study analyses how firms within the Port of Tema industrial cluster in Ghana engage with collaboration, resource access, and innovation dynamics, applying evolutionary, institutional, and network-relational perspectives. A cross-sectional survey of 278 firms within a 10-km radius of the port was analysed using K-means clustering and validated through ANOVA and Chi-square tests. Bridge prestressed concrete girders are vulnerable to sudden rupture of prestressing strands caused by accidental collisions with over-height trucks. These incidents often result in the asymmetric loss of prestressing strands and concrete sections, generating a biaxial bending moment caused by the combined effects of lateral bending and existing service loads. The induced lateral bending moment reduces the flexural resistance of prestressed concrete (PC) girders. However, the current AASHTO LRFD (load and resistance factor design) provisions for flexural resistance in PC members do not explicitly address the complexities introduced by biaxial bending, leaving the extent of strength reduction uncertain. However, a quantitative and scalable measure of a firm’s disclosed operational risk is unavailable. Thus, the firm’s stakeholders remain unaware of its disclosed operational risk and the risk’s implications. Methodology/results: U.S. law requires a public firm to textually disclose its operational and nonoperational risks in Item 1A of its annual report (i.e., Form 10-K). In recent years, a rapidly growing number of management scholars are using computational linguistics (CL) to analyze vast corpora of naturally occurring organizational language. Yet the rapid adoption of CL methods has outpaced the development of shared standards for linking theoretical constructs, linguistic data, and computational measurement. We synthesize 353 articles published in leading management journals for 2013–2025, identifying four recurring challenges shaping the credibility of CL-based research: misalignment between constructs and textual corpora, unnecessary model complexity, the opacity of large language model workflows, and insufficient transparency in reporting. With FL, participants train their models on local data and submit the corresponding updates for aggregation to a server. Like every sport, baseball operates as a legal system, complete with laws that govern play and a process for resolving disputes that occur during the game. The large majority of these laws are enforced through a type of public litigation: umpires are responsible for detecting infractions and imposing the mandated penalties. However, unlike in every other sport popular in the United States, certain laws are enforced through a type of private litigation: the appeal play. Currently, the Supreme Court holds that the death penalty is constitutional and that a person has no right to Medical Aid in Dying, resulting in a legal environment in which a person can unwillingly be put to death while simultaneously having no ability to end their own life if terminally ill and in pain.
