Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a highly heterogeneous and aggressive malignancy of the bile ducts, characterized by a poor prognosis and high mortality rate. Despite advancements in treatment, effective targeted therapies and reliable prognostic biomarkers remain limited. Ferroptosis, a regulated form of cell death, has emerged as a potential therapeutic target in various cancers. However, its role in CCA remains poorly understood. In this study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of ferroptosis-related genes (FRGs) to predict the prognosis of CCA and identify potential therapeutic targets. สภาวะจิตเกาะเกี่ยวร่วม เป็นมโนทัศน์สำคัญอันหนึ่งในการทำความเข้าใจความเป็นจริงทางสังคมและปรากฏการณ์ของความเป็นกลุ่ม โดยบ่งถึงความสามารถทางจิตของปัจเจกบุคคลที่จะมุ่งหมายหรือสัมพันธ์กับวัตถุ สภาวการณ์ ประพจน์ หรือการกระทำในฐานะ “กลุ่ม” (หรือในฐานะพวกเรา) วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษามโนทัศน์เรื่องความตั้งใจกระทำการร่วม ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นย่อยอันหนึ่งในข้อถกเถียงเรื่องสภาวะจิตเกาะเกี่ยวร่วม และเป็นหนึ่งในปัญหาสำคัญที่มีการถกเถียงกันในภววิทยาสังคม ปรัชญาจิต และปรัชญาการกระทำ แนวทางและคำอธิบายแบบดั้งเดิมเกี่ยวกับความเข้าใจที่มีต่อมโนทัศน์ดังกล่าว สามารถแบ่งออกได้เป็นสามแนวทางของนักคิดสามคน ได้แก่ แนวทางแบบมุ่งเน้นเนื้อหา ของไมเคิล แบรทแมน แนวทางแบบมุ่งเน้นองค์ประธาน ของมากาเร็ต กิลเบอร์ต และแนวทางแบบมุ่งเน้นรูปแบบทางจิต ของจอห์น เซิร์ล วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งเสนอข้อถกเถียงว่าทั้งสามแนวทางต่างเผชิญข้อท้าทายเชิงทฤษฎีบางประการ กล่าวคือ สองแนวทางแรกเผชิญปัญหาเรื่องการให้คำอธิบายเป็นวงกลม ส่วนแนวทางที่สามเผชิญปัญหาเรื่องการเข้าใจธรรมชาติของสภาวะจิตเกาะเกี่ยวแบบภายในนิยม ที่ขาดมิติเชิงความสัมพันธ์ จากนั้นจะเสนอทางเลือกคำอธิบายใหม่โดยอาศัยแนวคิดของจอร์จ เฮอเบิร์ต มี้ดเรื่องตัวตนทางสังคม ซึ่งสามารถหลีกเลี่ยงปัญหาและให้คำอธิบายปรากฏการณ์ความตั้งใจกระทำการร่วมได้ดีกว่าแนวทางที่ผ่านมา

Mycorrhizal fungi benefit plants by enhancing nutrient uptake through the plant roots in exchange for sugars from the plant itself. There are two main types: endomycorrhiza, and ectomycorrhiza. Endomycorrhizal fungi form symbiotic relationships with plant roots, which can enhance nutrient uptake, stress resistance, and overall plant growth. This study aimed to determine the effects of endomycorrhizal fungi on the growth and development of Melissa officinalis (lemon balm), a medicinal herb known for its antimicrobial and calming properties. Stress physiology in bats can be studied through various non-invasive methods, with hair cortisol levels being a particularly valuable measure. Hair cortisol analysis provides insights into the long-term stress levels and physiological states of bats, as it captures cortisol accumulation over time. This method helps researchers understand how different stressors and environmental factors impact bat populations. In mydissertation, I focused on assessing the validity and reliability of hair cortisol measurements in bats and explored the implications of these measurements for understanding bat stress physiology. Melanin is the dark pigment responsible for influencing the color of bodily structures, and it is variably present throughout human and animal tissue. Melanin is also found within the mammalian inner ear, and it has been observed that a lack of melanin is associated with greater susceptibility to sensorineural hearing loss. In this study, melanin levels of the inner ears of different color morphs of the fish species Poecilia latipinna and Cyprinus carpio were measured and the potential protective role of that melanin from acoustical stress was examined. This multiple case study explored the relationship between school district and school site environments and the character of instructional coaching. Across the US billions of dollars are spent every year on professional development for teachers, and over the last few decades, coaching, as a form of professional development, has grown in prominence. Pandemic Pathways: An Integrated Approach To Studying The Pandemic’S Employment Impacts On Paid And Unpaid Care Of Children 0 To 11 Years Old, Johanna S. Quinn

The pandemic adversely affected the employment of child caregivers, exacerbating already existing inequalities. The authors offer an integrated framework that considers the interdependencies between unpaid and paid child caregiving and the construction of the childcare sector as a devalued and fractionalized group. The authors outline the prepandemic positioning of mothers, childcare teachers, preschool teachers, and primary school teachers. Then, using cross-sectional and panel data from the Current Population Survey, the authors describe how the pandemic affected these four groups of child caregivers’ employment between January 2018 and December 2022. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow, specifically through improper differentiation of young blood cells into healthy red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Some of the mutations involved in AML have been traced back to the Isocitrate Dehydrogenase 2 (IDH2) enzyme. IDH2 is an enzyme within the citric acid cycle that converts isocitrate to α-ketoglutarate (α-KG) with NADP+ being reduced to NADPH as an important cofactor. Mutations in IDH2, such as R140Q and R172K, cause the protein to convert α-KG to the oncometabolite 2-hydroxyglutarate (2HG). These changes block the differentiation of …

A staggering 21 million people are currently affected by Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), a condition that can impact an individual’s ability to complete even the most basic everyday activities. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter which is taken back to nerve cells through a process called reuptake. However, Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor, (SSRIs), block this process, therefore making more serotonin available to help promote communication in the brain.
