Judicial Pardon is a new concept formulated in the 2019 Draft of the Criminal Code. The concept refers to the judges’ new powers to forgive defendants who are convicted guilty. However, the formulation of the concept has not been adjusted to the formulation of decision types in the draft of the Criminal Law Procedure. There has to be a harmonization between the Draft of the Criminal Code and the Draft of the Criminal Law Procedure. Tingginya permintaan menyebabkan ikan jenis ini masuk ke dalam daftar Convention on International Trade in Endanger Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Appendiks II pada tahun 2016. Artikel ini mengungkap fakta-fakta kasus pedofilia di Indonesia, dampak dan persoalan hukumnya, serta peran keluarga melalui pola asuh sebagai upaya pencegahan. Pengetahuan tentang ragam kekerasan pada anak menjadi penting bagi masyarakat dan penegak hukum. Pengaturan mengenai landas kontinen di Indonesia khususnya dalam menentukan batas terluar landas kontinen masih mengacu pada ketentuan Konvensi Jenewa tentang Landas Kontinen tahun 1958, yaitu menggunakan kriteria kedalaman dan kemampuan dalam melakukan eksploitasi. Sementara Indonesia telah meratifikasi Konvensi Hukum Laut 1982, dimana kriteria dalam menentukan batas terluar landas kontinen berdasarkan konvensi ini dinilai lebih menguntungkan bagi negara pantai. First observed in Belize in 2008, lionfish have since become established in the Belize Barrier Reefs. Known for their ability to consume a wide range of species, lionfish compete with native fish for food resources. Microbial source tracking (MST) attempts to identify specific animal sources of fecal contamination in the environment. While traditional fecal coliform enumeration can give a general measure of contamination, the specificity imparted by modern MST provides a more informative assessment of contaminants and their likelihood to affect human health outcomes.

We have been developing an MST system that detects DNA biomarkers from the gram-negative bacterial genus Bacteroides and the family Lachnospiraceae. The greater Atlanta metropolitan area hosts numerous mosquito species that are nuisance biters and can transmit arthropod-borne diseases to humans. We surveyed the Kennesaw State University (KSU) Field Station – an incredibly biodiverse location – where student, staff, and faculty-led groups engage in outdoor research and teaching activities. The KSU Field Station located in Cobb County, GA is a heavily trafficked 25-acre property that may attract various mosquito species capable of transmitting pathogens to humans and animals alike. The Constitutional Court of Indonesia issued a landmark judgment on February 2012 stipulating that the civil rights of children born out of wedlock should be recognized by their biological fathers. In June 2008, the Supreme Court of Japan issued a judgment that struck down the same issue stipulating that illegitimate child shall be acknowledged as having legal relationship with the father, and that the Nationality Act was violation of the constitution. Climate Change Demands Free Markets, Glen Lyons

Journal of New Finance

William Nordhaus won a Nobel Prize for work on the economics of climate change. He advocated for the government policy of carbon pricing arguing that climate is a public good, free riders undermine action, there are unpriced negative externalities, and individuals can’t slow climate change. Nordhaus assumes that climate science is certain enough to design effective policy. This paper challenges that thinking and shows that individuals can and ARE slowing climate change. I will also review the risks of government policy, highlight the uncertainty in present day climate science, and conclude by showing that free markets are the best “policy”.

The structure, function, and dynamics of Earth's terrestrial ecosystems are profoundly influenced by how often (frequency) and how long (duration) they are inundated with water. A diverse array of natural and human-engineered systems experience temporally variable inundation whereby they fluctuate between inundated and non-inundated states. Variable inundation spans extreme events to predictable sub-daily cycles. Variably inundated ecosystems (VIEs) include hillslopes, non-perennial streams, wetlands, floodplains, temporary ponds, tidal systems, storm-impacted coastal zones, and human-engineered systems. Abstract Urban areas are foci for the introduction of non-native plant species, and they often act as launching sites for invasions into the wider environment. Although interest in biological invasions in urban areas is growing rapidly, and the extent and complexity of problems associated with invasions in these systems have increased, data on the composition and numbers of non-native plants in urbanized areas remain scattered and idiosyncratic.
