This study investigates the potential influence of self-control and self-regulation on Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among students. FoMO is characterized by an apprehension of being excluded from significant experiences or opportunities. Individuals with low self-control may struggle to prioritize positive behaviors, potentially leading to heightened FoMO. Similarly, a lack of self-regulation, the ability to manage thoughts and guide actions towards goals, might exacerbate FoMO. The purpose of this study was to report on the experience of using Project-based learning (PBL) in the human and social sciences course taught to first year students in dentistry at the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez. The assessment method involved self-assessment using a questionnaire. The course plan used PBL methodology in face-to-face format as well as asynchronous meetings via Moodle®. The findings showed that students were satisfied while experimenting PBL which creates a dynamic learning environment. Based on the findings, we suggest an innovative neuropsychological framework of PBL encompassing socio-cognitive, socio-emotional and metacognitive domains. Mycoplasma hyorhinis is a significant pathogen in swine, yet its fastidious nutritional requirements present challenges for in vitro cultivation. Conventional supplements like horse serum (HS) often suffer from batch variability and potential inhibitors. This study aimed to evaluate chicken serum (CS) and chicken egg yolk (CY) as novel alternatives to develop a reliable cultivation method for M. hyorhinis. Five clinical isolates were cultured for 10 days in a basal medium supplemented with CS or CY at 10%, 20%, or 30%, with 30% HS as the control. Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL), also understood as a theory of decolonizing international law, offers a critical framework for analyzing the historical evolution of international law and its continuing impact on Global South nations. This article examines TWAIL's perspective within the Law of the Sea, with particular attention to the ways in which the dominance of marine resource use by industrialized states perpetuates structural inequities over less powerful states. Advances in artificial intelligence, large-scale machine learning, and simulation technologies are rapidly transforming how sport is played, analyzed, and consumed. To date, most scholarly and industry discussions frame these technologies as tools that enhance embodied sport by improving performance, officiating, media production, and fan engagement. This paper extends that conversation by posing a more provocative strategic question: under what conditions might simulation move from enhancement to substitution? Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a biomarker that indicates oxidative stress levels in the human body; thus, rapid and accurate detection methods are necessary to diagnose various disorders. This study developed a nonenzymatic electrochemical sensor for detecting H2O2 using bimetallic gold–silver nanoparticles (Au–Ag NPs) combined with graphene oxide and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)-modified glassy carbon electrode. Curcuma longa (turmeric) and Piper nigrum (black pepper) have long been integral to traditional medicine, known for their potential antimicrobial properties. This study evaluated the antimicrobial effects of these spices against two pathogenic bacteria, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, and one pathogenic yeast Candida albicans. Twelve aqueous extracts of turmeric (TE) and black pepper (BPE) were prepared at concentrations of 10, 20, and 30% and tested using the agar well diffusion method. The National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 is a landmark in United States environmental law. For more than half a century, under its authority, all federal agencies contemplating proposed actions that pose significant environmental impacts have incorporated an analysis of those impacts into their decisions. This study investigated effective methods to overcome seed dormancy in Yemeni carob through comparative analysis of 14 pre-sowing treatments, including chemical scarification with sulfuric acid, hot water soaking, and GA3 priming in addition to mechanical scarification. The experiment followed a completely randomized design and was analysed using ANOVA and LSD tests (p ≤ 0.05). The 20-minute sulfuric acid treatment (T5) was optimal, achieving 100% germination, the shortest germination time (4.0 days), the highest vigor index (13.3), and the longest seedling length (13.4 cm). This study investigates the diverse coastal landforms along the Qawz al Ja'afirah shoreline in the Jazan region and examines the natural processes responsible for shaping them. The area hosts a variety of geomorphological features, including vegetated zones, sabkhas, sandy beaches, sand sheets, intertidal flats, alluvial terrace deposits (notably associated with wadi systems), sand dunes and mangrove stands. The presence and arrangement of these features reflect significant transformations in the coastal environment, particularly along the beach zones. Rotenone is commonly used to remove undesirable fish species and support recreational fisheries. Lake Ogallala, a 263-ha tailwater reservoir located in western Nebraska, has had a history with rotenone use dating back to 1969. While past renovations of the reservoir have documented impacts on water quality, aquatic vegetation establishment, and benthic invertebrate and fish communities, zooplankton responses had not been studied. To evaluate potential effects, we compared zooplankton densities and community composition before and after the most recent renovation. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), global premature birth rates reached 9.9% in 2020, it’s rising compared to preterm birth rates in 2010. The study explored the potential of co-production of oyster mushroom Pleurotus HK-37 and biogas from palm oil waste fractions to add value and mitigate environmental impact. Nine different blends of waste fractions were subjected to mushroom production. The highest mushroom yield and biological efficiency were obtained from a blend that combined equal amounts of palm mesocarp fiber (PMF) and empty fruit bunch (EFB) waste fractions supplemented with 1% palm oil mill effluent (POME) and sediments (SD). Jeddah, a prominent coastal city along the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, has experienced significant urban growth, particularly around the Roshn Waterfront, a vital area for recreation and green spaces. Urban green spaces are known to boost biodiversity and enhance public health, but they may also pose allergenic risks due to the presence of airborne pollen. Plant stimulants improve plant growth and development by efficiently enhancing nutrient utilization for agricultural sustainability. The objective of this study was to determine the effect and optimum rates of MiZax-3 and Zif-8, on growth and yield of tomato during 2022/23 and 2023/24 growing seasons. We found a significant increase in plant height (9%), number of branches (39.5%) and number of leaves (50%) with MiZax-3+Zif-8 at low (2.5 and 5 μM) concentrations at 100% and 75% fertilizer levels during both seasons. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of developing e-modules based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in improving students' problem-solving abilities in ecosystem material. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by reviewing articles published in the period 2018–2025. The results of the analysis show that most of the research uses the descriptive method. Research and Development (RnD) with junior high and senior high school subjects, and produced N-Gain values ranging from 0.50 to 0.83, categorized as moderate to high.
