Objective: Tooth extraction is a common medical procedure that can be classified classified as simple or complex, depending on the condition of the tooth. Supportive therapies are being explored to  accelerate wound healing after tooth extraction. Yield stress measurement in non-Newtonian fluids, particularly under complex flow conditions such as equibiaxial elongation, remains a significant challenge in experimental rheology. This work presents the development of a novel method, Continuous Lubricated Squeezing Flow (CLSF), designed to quantify the normal yield stress of viscoelastic materials while minimizing boundary artifacts.

The CLSF method was implemented and validated using Carbopol 940, a model yield-stress gel, at concentrations of 1 wt% and 2 wt%. This paper develops a mathematical model to investigate breast cancer dynamics by incorporating tumor–immune interactions, ketogenic diet effects, and medical treatment. The model is formulated as a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations and analyzed within an optimal control framework. Time-dependent control variables are introduced to represent treatment strategies aimed at minimizing tumor progression while reducing therapeutic costs. The model’s well-posedness is established through positivity and boundedness analysis. The necessary conditions for optimality are derived using Pontryagin’s Minimum Principle, resulting in a coupled system of state and adjoint equations. A persistent gap exists involving health outcomes for Black women in the United States, regardless of socioeconomic status when compared to Black men and White women. This qualitative case study involved exploring the influence of social support on health-seeking behaviors among Black women. Sixteen participants, between ages 22 to 49 from nine states, were recruited. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews based on the social support theory. Factors such as mattering, sexual orientation, and gender identity (SOGI) influence e-cigarette use among adolescents, yet few studies have explored the relationship between mattering and e-cigarette use when considering SOGI. This quantitative study explored the association between past 30-day e-cigarette use and mattering among Maine high schoolers while controlling for SOGI and grade level. Hypoxia, or oxygen deprivation, is a common pathological feature found in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) is the master transcription factor of oxygen homeostasis, eliciting a wide range of cellular adaptive responses to either enhance oxygen delivery or reduce oxygen consumption. HIF is primarily regulated by two types of oxygen sensors, the prolyl hydroxylase domain-containing proteins (PHDs) and factor-inhibiting HIF (FIH). In tumours, HIF functions as a double-edged sword whereby it could either promote or hinder tumour progression. Advances in high-throughput sequencing have uncovered robust microbial signatures linked to infectious, inflammatory, metabolic, and neoplastic diseases. Clinical applications now include pathogen detection, antimicrobial resistance profiling, microbiota-based therapies, and enterotype-guided patient stratification. This study examines Roblox as a digital cultural space that constructs and represents adolescent identity through Umberto Eco's semiotic approach. Roblox functions not only as a game platform but also as an open text comprising visual signs, social symbols, and complex narratives. This studi is based on a literature review from nine prior empirical studies, this research analyzes how avatars, virtual environments, Robux economy, and user communities shape diverse systems of meaning. Establishing baseline data for natural radiation exposure and radioactivity levels is essential for radiological health and safety programs, particularly during the implementation and development of nuclear power initiatives. This review evaluates gamma radiation exposure and anthropogenic cesium-137 (¹³⁷Cs) levels in the world’s oceans and marine fish, analyzing their radioecological impact. Data from 30 peer-reviewed publications indicate that ¹³⁷Cs activity concentrations in seawater range from 0.07 Bq kg^–1 to 6.4 kBq kg^–1, with fish values between 0.01–3.50 kBq kg^–1. Bioremediation of hypersaline environments contaminated with heavy metals is challenging due to high salinity levels, particularly when using conventional microorganisms. This study aimed to isolate and identify halotolerant and halophilic bacteria from various mangrove rhizosphere soil samples in Saudi Arabia and to evaluate their ability to remove heavy metals under high-salinity conditions. Out of 27 isolated strains, LD57 and LR40 demonstrated the highest resistance to lead ions.
