BCG and tuberculin were used as a possible immune stimulants for cryoresponses in a lapin model .Immunization and hyperimmunization protocols both for primary and secondary cryoimmune response were attempted .Cryocrit percentage ,protein nature through biurete reaction , ratio of cryoglobulin to total globulin of immune and hyper immune sera as well as reversible precipitable at 4c ,and solubility at 45c were identification criteria for cryoglobulin. Both BCG and tuberculin 0.05IU were found good stimulants for cryoresponse . Several experiments were conducted, to determine the effects of extracts of vegetative parts of Lusha (Allium akaka) on growth of some human and plant pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Xanthomonas campestris and Erwinia caratovora. Plant vegetative parts were extracted (crude extraction) using distilled water and ethanol (90%). The study included the detection of bacterial species in 110 excised appendix being taken from 110 patients having acute appendicitis who were referred to Al-Kufa Teaching Hospital, department of urology whose ages ranged from 4 to 60 years old. This study was performed to determine the effects of Evening primrose oil (EPO) on haemostatic parameters following 30 and 60 days administration of 90 mg/kg (EPO) to healthy male rabbits. The laboratory resulting in significant increase in Prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) assays (p<0.01), platelets count significantly decreased (p<0.01) at both times. While fibrinogen concentration are insignificantly decreased. These effects might be due to inactivation or inhibition of factors affecting coagulation.

Human cytomegalovirus has been shown to transform cultured cells, however, viral DNA is not detected in most transforming cells, and the mechanism by which HCMV might contribute to oncogenesis has remained obscure. Expression Of Hla Class 1 In Iraqi Bladder Cancer Patients, Kareem Hamed Ghali

HLA types studied in sixty bladder cancer patients. A control sample of 80 apparently disease free individuals was included for comparisons, matched for ethinical background (Iraqi Arabs), sex and age. The study demonstrated significant deviations in four antigens, HLA -A2, -B5, -B51 and -Cw7, when comparisons was made between patients and controls. The frequency of antigen Cw7 was increased in the patients, while antigens A2, B5, and B51 showed decreased frequencies. Other associations were also observed when the tumour staging and grading were considered.

The seed of trigonella Feneum - graecum was extracted with 70% ethanol, the antibacterial activity of different concentration of the extract were tested to inhibition of some Gram positive pathogenicc bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. Diplcoccus pneumonia, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus facials and Gram negative such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp & Pseudomonas aeroginousa. The high concentration ≥2mg/ml showed antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria, while pseudomonas auregenosa was resistant to all concentration of extract. The results indicated that the extract of fenugreek plant seeds is important in treatment of bacterial infection & drugs industries.
