Transformasi Digital Rantai Pasok Halal: Model Kesiapan Ketertelusuran Digital (Digital Traceability Readiness) Pada Industri Busana Muslim Global, Khansa Khansa, Nailah Artanti Eka Putri, Corrina Hazimah Ismailia
Jurnal Manajemen dan Usahawan Indonesia
The global modest fashion industry continues to grow rapidly as Muslim consumers demand objectively verifiable halal integrity assurance. The complexity of the fashion supply chain, which is long, fragmented, and involves risky auxiliary materials such as dyes, glues, and threads, opens up opportunities for contamination and halal-washing, making digital traceability a strategic prerequisite for sharia compliance. This study aims to synthesize a digital traceability readiness model based on evidence-based assurance. The method used is a Thematic Literature Review (TLR) with a thematic synthesis approach. This study formulates a Three-Level Readiness Taxonomy that maps the evolution of halal assurance from a …

Hybrid Working Untuk Ibu Bekerja: Perspektif Self Determination Theory, Paulina Sri Trifina Hariyati, Nayunda Andhika Sari
Jurnal Manajemen dan Usahawan Indonesia
The phenomenon of hybrid working, which combines working from home and from the office, offers flexibility that has the potential to enhance work-life balance for employees. This is believed to be particularly significant for working mothers who carry high domestic responsibilities, providing them with the space to manage their time between work and family. Utilizing the Self-Determination Theory framework, this study aims to understand the meanings and strategies employed by working mothers navigating hybrid work. This research adopts a qualitative approach through interviews with 13 working mothers at a life insurance company in Jakarta. The findings indicate that for working …

In order to investigate the inconsistent interpretations of the Constitutional Court regarding the age requirements for presidential and vice-presidential candidates, this study will analyze the dynamics of determining age requirements from the perspective of the 1945 Constitution and the principles of constitutionalism. A socio-legal approach is used in the normative research method to analyze the Constitutional Court's decisions in light of the social and political factors that shaped them. According to the results, Constitutional Court Ruling No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 marks a turning point in the evolution of Indonesian constitutional law. Initially, there was no strict interpretation of the age limits for …
Women’S Participation In Middle Eastern Politics: Between Cultural Norms And Democratic Aspirations, Siham Abidi, Thomas Sheku Marah
Women’S Participation In Middle Eastern Politics: Between Cultural Norms And Democratic Aspirations, Siham Abidi, Thomas Sheku Marah
Journal Of Middle East and Islamic Studies
Women’s political participation in the Middle East remains shaped by the complex interaction of cultural norms, religious interpretations, and democratic reform processes. While existing scholarship has examined these factors extensively, limited attention has been devoted to explaining why women’s political participation varies across states with broadly similar socio-cultural and religious contexts. This study addresses this gap through a qualitative comparative analysis of Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. Guided by Feminist Institutionalism and Political Opportunity Structure theory, the study draws on secondary data from peer-reviewed literature, legal documents, and policy reports. The findings demonstrate that women’s political participation is not determined …

The Psychology Of Diplomacy In The Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: The Role Of Emotions And Perceptions In Peace Negotiations, Tomy Octavian, Linda Noviyana
Journal Of Middle East and Islamic Studies
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict remains one of the major challenges in building sustainable peace through diplomacy. This study analyzes the role of emotions and perceptions in Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations through the perspective of diplomacy psychology. Using an integrative literature review and an integrated theory approach that combines psychological theories and international relations theories, this study synthesizes empirical and conceptual findings on the Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiation process. The results of the analysis show that negative emotions such as fear, hatred, and anger worsen diplomatic relations and hinder peace deals. Distorted perceptions of the other side's intentions and identities, as well as conflicting …
Social Complex Systems In Virtual Thirdspaces Of Global Education: Sites Of Structural Inequalities And Radical Pedagogical Possibilities, José Luis Jimenez-Figarotti
Social Complex Systems In Virtual Thirdspaces Of Global Education: Sites Of Structural Inequalities And Radical Pedagogical Possibilities, José Luis Jimenez-Figarotti
Electronic Theses and Dissertations 2020 - Present
While Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Virtual Exchange (VE) are celebrated as democratizing tools fostering intercultural understanding, this techno-utopian narrative obscures a complex reality: the virtual classroom is a contested social field where global inequalities are reproduced and amplified. This dissertation interrogates this paradox, exploring how structural inequalities, digital divides, and epistemic hierarchies are negotiated within the Virtual Thirdspace of global education. Integrating Structural Inequalities (Galtung, 1969; Farmer, 2004; Tilly, 1998; and Young, 2008), Critical Environmental Justice (Pellow, 2018), Intersectionality (Crenshaw, 1989), World-Systems Analysis (Wallerstein, 1974), and Thirdspace theory (Soja, 1996), the study examines this terrain as both a …
