This research presents a comprehensive analysis of the mooring system design for the 1 MW OE35 wave energy converter, which is being developed by the WEDUSEA project. The study centres on the dynamic analysis of mooring configurations using Orcaflex software to simulate the environmental and operational conditions expected at the deployment site. The analysis involved an iterative design and validation process, refined through both numerical modelling and basin testing. These tank tests were crucial for validating the Orcaflex model outcomes by providing a controlled environment to observe the physical behaviours of the proposed mooring configurations under simulated sea conditions. The …

IntroductionHigh quality clinical education research is required to ensure optimal education and training of healthcare professionals. Such research should address stakeholder needs and have a clear route to achieving benefit. We conducted the first UK-wide priority setting exercise for clinical education research to identify research priorities and how they are determined.MethodsWe used a two-stage process, derived from similar studies, to identify the research priorities of stakeholders including funders, regulators, educators and public representatives. Stage one consisted of two rounds of online surveys, gathering free-text suggestions of priorities and rating the resulting statements. A public engagement author advised on wording. Stage …

Cmsi Note 15: Plan Chief Of Staff Vadm Li Hanjun: Fast-Rising Star Of Training And Education Extinguished, Andrew S. Erickson, Christopher H. Sharman
CMSI Notes
Key Findings:
VADM Li Hanjun was a fast-rising star, terminated before he could make his full contribution and career achievements:
• VADM Li’s senior roles, including at the Dalian Naval Academy and as Commandant of the Naval Command College, suggest he was well known and respected across the fleet.
• Li has influenced a generation of current PLAN operational leaders. His relentless advocacy of high-intensity training in both service-specific and joint roles suggest he had outsized influence in shaping the trajectory of current PLAN training.
• The reasons for Vice Admiral Li’s removal remain opaque, but likely related to the …

Background. In 2018, 48.9% of adolescent girls in Indonesia were diagnosed with anemia. Knowledge about the definition, symptoms, and prevention of anemia, including the correct use of Iron Supplement Tablets (IST), is essential in the prevention of anemia. A deeper understanding of these behaviors is necessary to formulate effective educational messages. The Health Belief Model (HBM) is often used to explore and understand preventive behaviors.
Aim. To explore the determinants and practices of IST consumption among adolescent girls.
Method. This descriptive qualitative study used a phenomenological approach. Participants were selected purposively from adolescent girls. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, …

Perilaku dan Promosi Kesehatan: Indonesian Journal of Health Promotion and Behavior
Background. Primiparous mothers have a higher risk of experiencing difficulties in providing breast milk (ASI) due to lack of experience and preparation to become mothers. 90% of mothers in Indonesia have breastfed their children, but those who provide exclusively for 6 months are still low at 20%. One of the reasons for the failure of the success of providing exclusive breastfeeding is the low self-confidence or belief (Self Efficacy) of primiparous mothers in providing breast milk. Therefore, it is necessary to provide education about breastfeeding by implementing the emotional demonstration method developed by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition …

Background: The PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway plays a pivotal role in endocrine resistance among hormone receptor-positive (HR+) breast cancer patients. Despite growing global access to pathway-targeted therapies, the clinical integration of molecular diagnostics in India remains limited. This study investigates the prevalence and prognostic implications of PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway activation in HR+ breast cancer using patient-derived tumor tissue. Methods: This prospective observational study analyzed tumor samples from 60 HR+ breast cancer patients treated at a tertiary oncology center in India. PIK3CA mutation status was assessed via PCR-based genomic testing. Protein expression of p-AKT and mTOR was evaluated using immunohistochemistry. Survival data …

The economic transformation in Indonesia and other ASEAN (Association of the South East Asian Nations) countries reflects a shift from a government-based economy to an open market system with competitive principles. The challenges faced include the rapid development of the digital economy, including Industry 4.0 which has now entered its fifth literacy. The automotive sector is one of the sectors most affected by this phenomenon. Low labour costs and high motorisation rates have attracted more car manufacturers, especially from Japan, China and Germany (Europe) to make foreign direct investments in Indonesia. Indonesia is the second largest producer and consumer of …
