The growing misuse of drugs among university students poses a major public health concern, particularly when prevention strategies overlook psychosocial and educational determinants of awareness. This study examines how extracurricular engagement (EE) enhances students' drug-risk awareness (DRA) through the mediating role of drug-risk knowledge (DRK) and under varying levels of perceived peer norms (PPN). Grounded in the Health Belief Model, Social Norms Theoryand the Knowledge-Attitude-Behaviour framework, extracurricular activities are conceptualised as social-learning environments that foster cognitive understanding and preventive awareness of drug harms. This paper examined the psychological, social and nutritional health-related aspects that relate to drug use among higher education students. The study was a descriptive cross-sectional study on 1,055 students in various colleges. The data was obtained by using self-administered questionnaire, which measured demographic, psychological, and social variables and nutritional health indicators in terms of drug use. The study identified living alone as a significant demographic predictor in the multivariate logistic regression analysis. This study investigates the development, workflow and institutional structure of Autrjim, a volunteer fansubbing community that subtitles educational YouTube content into Arabic. The study explores how such online communities manage translation projects, engage members and adapt to digital challenges. Situated within the frameworks of institutional translation and communities of practice, the research highlights the significance of fansubbing as a socially driven, collaborative form of user-generated translation in the Arab digital space. The increased interest attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has received in recent years necessitates an in-depth investigation into educators’ perceptions of its classification and implications for classroom settings. This study explores general education (GE) teachers’ perceptions of ADHD classification in primary schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Employing a descriptive survey methodology, we gathered quantitative data from a diverse sample of 145 male and female GE teachers to consider contextual variables that may shape their perceptions. This paper examines counterfactual (CF) structures in Makkan Arabic, a dialect spoken in the Western region of Saudi Arabia. It expands the study of CF structures beyond English. It also presents novel data highlighting the presence of a CF complementizer law that is lexically specified to invoke counterfactuality. Investigating the ease of articulation in selecting names contributes to emphasizing the effect of articulatory features on speech perception and production. It explains why some names are distinctive among multi-semantic references and sociocultural dominance and are more likely appropriate for one sex than the other. This study explores how distinctive features of phonemes subconsciously derive our conception of first names, regardless of rich meanings or morphological endings. The current study aims to identify female Islamic studies teachers' attitudes towards including sex education concepts and to ascertain how many such concepts are included in the Islamic studies and Islamic culture textbooks for general education at elementary, intermediate, and higher levels in Saudi Arabia. The study also explores how Islamic studies teachers' perspectives regarding sex education statistically relate to their academic background, years of experience, and level of education.
