Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) strategy consists of theories, concepts, and methods that managers can use to ensure organizations achieve profitability and long-term growth. A DEIB strategy utilizing quality management principles helps leaders make better decisions to improve competitive position and create value for its key stakeholders. This chapter provides managers and leaders a perspective on organizational development. Further, DEIB strategic thinking applies to organizations regardless of their activities. This chapter presents a model to improve the online teaching effectiveness of K-12 science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) educators who teach underrepresented minority (URM) students. Further, K-12 institutions must consider the imperative by creating a STEAM professional advocacy network (SPAN) through which the online teaching effectiveness of K-12 STEAM teachers is improved. The emerging disruptive business environment world-wide presents complex challenges to the theory and practice of human resources management (HRM) globally, including the United States. In this dissertation, I argue that against a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) context, HRM should adopt systems thinking methodologies, approaches, frameworks, and tools to ensure sustainable HRM problem-solving and decision-making. Conceptualizations of servingness must include an understanding of how racial ideologies shape Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). Three Latinx scholars offer testimonios on our experiences as students, faculty, and researchers at teaching and research-intensive HSIs. From our testimonios, we found that practices of Blanqueamiento (Whitening of a population) and Mestizaje (racial mixture) operate at HSIs to flatten our understanding of Hispanics in U.S. society. To make sense of our testimonios within these HSI contexts and constraints, we applied an intersectional consciousness perspective on racialized organizations. Purpose: Organizations have been challenged to identify antecedents to improved employee adjustment to the work environment changes that arose in the wake of the COVID-19 global pandemic. This study explores the effect of multilingualism on employee ability to adjust to workplace changes based on the concept that multilinguals have been found to switch between tasks more efficiently as compared to monolinguals. The use of these technologies to monitor worker performance is known as electronic performance monitoring (EPM) in the academic literature. The purpose of this exploratory case study was to learn about the effective practices that recognized tech-savvy principals enacted to support teaching and learning in their schools during the first academic year of the COVID-19 crisis. The study involved semi structured interviews with five recognized tech-savvy school principals. It also involved analyzing supporting materials and documents.

The findings of this study indicated that tech-savvy principals were not stuck in the structural rut that most principals found themselves in during the COVID-19 crisis. The purpose of this quantitative research study was to determine if there were differences in perception among K-12 Indiana public school principals regarding the emotional intelligence of superintendents, specifically, the domains of self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. The independent variables included building type, location type, and years of experience. This study surveyed all traditional public school and charter school principals in Indiana regarding 30 statements. Three different one-way ANOVA tests were run to find statistical differences on each null hypothesis. The null was retained in building type and location type. Although research has established that students of color have unique experiences in their multicultural training, few studies have examined the experiences and needs of specific subgroups of students of color. This study examined Chinese American psychology trainees’ experiences in multicultural education. Qualitative data was collected from individual semi-structured interviews with Chinese American doctoral students (N = 6).
