Due to the latest advances in microelectronics, wireless sensor networking (WSN) has been introduced in many applications. The flow of event data in WSN applications requires timely and reliable distribution so that immediate response and appropriate action can be taken. However, the limited power supply to the sensor terminal causes a transmission between the delay on the way to the base station and the power consumption. Clustering techniques are essential in developing the WSN routing algorithm that improves network operating time and power efficiency. However, due to the unbalanced power consumption between the terminals, the WSN is the optimal, energy …

Yanbu Journal of Engineering and Science
The numerical solution of convection-diffusion equation is presented by using Chebyshev spectral method based on El-Gendi method via Lie group analysis. Firstly, we apply Lie symmetry group analysis for the convection-diffusion equation. This method yields convection-diffusion equation to a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Secondly, this system is solved numerically by using Chebyshev spectral method. The numerical results obtained by this way are compared with the exact solution.

Modeling, Simulation And Neural Control Of Wheeled Inverted Pendulum, Muhammad Yasir Amir Khan, Vali Uddin Abbas
Yanbu Journal of Engineering and Science
Wheeled inverted pendulum (WIP) is an underactuated and a highly unstable system. In this paper we have proposed modelling and control of WIP as hybrid automaton based on torque equations rather than Lagrangian method. The model was simulated using Simulink using Direct Inverse Neural Control (DINC) to control the WIP system using the hybrid automaton based strategy so as to keep it at upright position. Simulation results reveal that control scheme is sufficiently able to control the system at desired position but with slight steady state error which was found to reduce with the increasing sampling rate.
